Not The Hilton But Nice For The Price

***Location: Great! Near to everything (airport, shopping, beaches, Sea World). Free Parking, too! There were a few 'Adult Entertainment' type places nearby, but there were no 'unseemly characters' loitering around the area as we might have expected.
***The Room: The carpet had large stains but otherwise the room was very clean. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable! We had a king-size bed and the room also included a hide-a-bed loveseat which was perfect for our son. Nice bathroom with granite counter & shower walls, and a hair dryer. The mid-size refrigerator was very clean, as was the small microwave, and the coffeemaker. Nice counter space, too - we were able to use like a kitchenette! The air conditioner/heater unit worked very well.
***The Foodt: The free breakfast is continental style, so don't expect a lot of proteins...fruit, danishes, juice & coffee. And there was a station where you could make your own waffles. That was fun! According to the signs, on some days they also offer hard-boiled eggs. Breakfast is served 6-9 am. The adjoining mexican restaurant, Tio Carlo's, offers free room service if you have cash. The food was very good. The hotel also included a free plate of nachos from the restaurant.
***The Pool: Small but clean.
***The Staff: Very Friendly!! Very Accommodating! Even the housekeeping staff was very helpful. We smoke, and all the rooms are non-smoking, so they brought us an ashtray so we could use it outside our room.
