Clarion Hotel South Bay, Carson

This hotel more than exceeded my expectations. The continental breakfast(free) was a wonderful way to end our stay in Los Angeles. Don't pay any mind to the negative reviews. For the price, it was more than satisfying. As good as a 2.5 star hotel could be. Our room was very clean, friendly staff, and awesome waffles. If your looking to save a few dollars during these hard times...this Clarion South Bay fits the bill. Thanks Clarion!!

I have stayed in many hotels and this is the worse one I had ever stayed. It is worse than a motel! I will never stay in this hotel (or this hotel chain) again. The room I stayed in was dirty and the bathroom tub was clotted. The tiles around the tub were peeling off and the faucet was leaking. The hallway was dark and has an unpleasant odor. They were even having big crocoaches in the rooms. The exercise room is very small (about 11 ft x 15ft) and is smelly. And there is a fee to use their Business Center!!!

Just got back from a week in LA and stayed at this hotel an frankly worried after reading the reviews in this space. Personally I think someone wanted to discredit this nice place. Breakfast was fine selection of cereal FRESH waffles pastries and toast. Fresh coffee and juce. Room was clean by the time we returned every day. We did have a problem with the toilet and asked the front desk for assistance. The person on duty was very cordial and helpfull. Maintenance came to aour room within 30 min and didn't leave until the problem was resolved.(Unlike other hotels we've experienced). grounds were well maintained and clean. the pool was clean and also well maintained. Overall we were very satisfied with this place for the price and location!! Restaurants in abundance in a close proximity including a chinese buffet next door.

Managers- sucked, no customer service,people at the front desk were rude. no elevator,outlets were not all working,missing covers,hot hallways,loud music,front desk did NOTHING! I stayed 42 days,worked at a refinery by there, washer dryer didn't work sometimes,water was cut off for 9 hrs!! and the the second time 4 hrs!! HORRIBLE!! Condem the sh*t hole and the idiots trying to run it. I will never give "choice hotels" my money again! Oh i had one guy up there had a good head on his shoulder, but he couldn't do anything. all in all....DO NOT STAY HERE! oh and who ever gave 5 stars must be a employee or the place was under someone else.

I would never visit this hotel again. The room looked old and needs renovation. There are cracks in the walls, bathroom floor and doorways. The bathroom floor was dirty and so was the hotel carpet....yuck! The beds were tiny and they do not offer anything more than 2 tiny double beds or 1 King size bed per room. There are no extra sofas or chairs other than 2 wooden chairs that go with little table in room. The window did not shut all the way so we could hear noise from outside. There was a space between wall cooler and wall and we could actually see outside through there. The curtains did not close all the way so we were exposed to the bright light from outside the hotel all night. The worst part of all was that they said they couldn't get more pillows for us because housekeeping leaves at 3 p.m. Our pillows were flat and hard and I was hurting both mornings after staying for 2 nights. I also had to take care of a baby in this. The continental breakfast was great. I couldn't believe how this management strives to keep up the appearance of the front desk area and dining area in the fron of the hotel. It looks very nice, clean, and modern. This was far from the truth with the rooms.

Dirty rooms, lamp shades with holes, bedspreads with stains, no hot water, sink clogged, No TV reception(no tv at all. Complaints to management, front desk and maintenance were answered with Oh Well! this is what it is. No Security. Attached night club had shooting with 1 killed, flowers still lay on hotel property. Concerned traveler

The service was wonderful and my room was very comfortable. The location was convienent for me. I will come back again for spring break!!! The hotel needs minor repairs but it wasnt an issue for me. I recamend to anyone

Terrible hotel! They overcharged me and got angry that I checked my bill! Still did not give me proper credit. Check your bill! or better yet , find honest people to do business with.

i stay in hotel rooms 200+ days a year and this is the worst hotel ive ever stayed at in my entire life. Staff are unfriendly and rude, rooms are dirty, service is ridiculous. I could go on but just read the other reviews i agree 500%

I strongly agree with all the reviews. The hotel stinks. This is the worst hotel i ever stayed in my entire life. Toillet and bath cloged and the rooms smell bad, plus there is no security at all in that hotel. Someone can enter your room, kill you and nobody will notice it. Too pricey for all the poor quality. If is not because I was in an emergency travel I wouldn't stay there.
