this must be temecula's dirty little secret
By ,
while the staff was outstanding. the helpful banquet servers were by far the best i have ever seen. the wedding we attended out at the stonehouse on the greens was fantastic! the service was outstanding to say the least. Shawn and mary made sure that everyone had what they requested. One of the guests had gotten a chill that night and mary brought them down some blankets to cuddle up to by the fire. i give 5 stars to each and everyone of those servers.

Cleaning staff is not trustworthy
By ,
It was overpriced as far as I'm concerned. Be sure to take everything with you, because you will never get it back.. I left my phone charger there and the Housekeeping supervisor assured me that he had it and would send it to me. Still waiting.......I have emailed the facility several times, no one responds to the emails. My only wish is that I hadn't filled out the survey at checkout, my scores would be quite different after this experience. Will not go back, my company was planning a trip and originally, I recommended this facility. Needless to say, company plans have picked another resort.

Great Place !!
By ,
My husband and I stayed there a few weeks back for our 5th year anniversary. We bought in on the room/dinner package which I highly recommend. Our room was very nice(recently rennovated) and clean and comfortable, quiet and had a great view. The Temecula Creek Grill which is the restaurant at the hotel that provides the food as part of your package was outstanding. We had no idea the food would be as good as it was. We both got dinner and breakfast anything we wanted off the menu for that price and the executive chef was terrific. I had the braised pork loin with apple and fig chutney and my husband got the filet mignon with melted blue cheese. Both were to die for, especially the pork. For dessert (which was included) I got the orange cranberry creme brulee and my husband got the thrace lache cake. It was the best thrace lache cake I have ever had and I don't even like that kind of cake. It was warm and flakey with a creamy lemon milk sauce poured over it. To die for.... the dining was just great and really made it well worth it. Would we go back? Yes we would, and we are picky about our hotels and restaurants.

Nice but not nice enough
By ,
While we enjoyed our stay in Temecula, we would probably not stay at the Temecula Creek Inn again. Although I agree with other reviews that the service and food were good and the rustic scenery was pretty, this is much more a hotel and not a "resort." We paid extra for a junior suite which was very disappointing - view of trees and main street vs much of the golf course, broken shower, noisy heater, no bigger than the regular rooms. If you golf a lot or go in the summer and can get a good deal, may be worth it. Or, if you don't mind a more rustic hotel setting and aren't looking for any true resort touches (like robes, slippers, etc), you will probably enjoy it.

Fabulous Family Reunion!
By ,
Dad's 80th birthday, 5 adult kids together for the first time in 35 years, a FABULOUS family reunion. The TCI staff made sure our rooms were together, all spacious and clean. Walking distance to 27 holes of golf that all handicaps could play and enjoy. You can even bring the golf cart to your room (they pick them up each night). Easy drive to antique shopping and dining, but BEST meals in the resort's restaurant. Stay and Play package decent value for golf and terrific massages from outside service. We would recommend the TCI for anyone looking for an in-the-woods, convenient-to-the-Ontario airport or San Diego, reasonably priced all-in-one resort.

The Best in Temecula!
By ,
I don't know where that last reviewer stayed but it couldn't have been at this resort. This place is beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone. The restaurant is amazing with gorgeous views of the fountains and the golf course. I would highly recommend this hotel

Looking for luxury? Look elsewhere. This place is a dump!
By ,
If you are looking for basics like a hair dryer, clock radio, nightstand and toilet paper, you would be well-advised to check the Comfort Inn or one of the other local economy hotels and spend your money on dinner at Allie's or Richie's instead. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in the US and this is the most disappointing lodging experience I have ever had. The walls are paper-thin, the bed folds down from the wall - one truly cannot believe how bad this place is, especially considering the $150/night price...and $6.00 for parking...AND $.75 for each local call, which we discovered while trying to book another hotel for that night. The room even had dirty foam cups and a half-consumed bottle of lemonade in it when we arrived! When my wife and I checked out after one night, the receptionist did not even ask how our stay was, which nearly every hotel I have ever stayed with will do.

Save your money and book one of the economy hotels. You will be glad you did.
