La Quinta Inn & Suites LAX, Los Angeles

besides hearing the planes take off and my neighbors conversation wake me up at 4am it was a nice hotel. all new fixtures, very clean. there was a nice complimentary breakfast and the staff were super nice. it was a good hotel for the quick trip i took to LA. check in and check out were painless, and there was a free shuttle from the airport. i would probably stay here again.

The hotel and all employees were great. The bed was very confortable. The only thing that concerned me was the parking structure, my truck made it but the sign at the gate said 7'5" clearance but when you go around the corner to go up a level the sign there is 6'5" clearance. I made it but this might need to be remidied. Also my measurements could be off a little. Thank you very good location to my destination.

Don't expect quality when you stay the this Quality Inn & Suites. Location is ok. Service is fair. Rooms and everything inside this place is AWEFUL!!! Don't believe anything good that you read about it. My husband and I stayed Friday, Sept 8 and checked out Monday, Sept 11. Parking is limited but they do have more available across the street- good thing is it's free (or included). Carpet is DIRTY- NASTY!!!! Both mornings there were ants in the bath tub. Couch in the room looked stained. When we stepped out of the elevator, we were greeted with a huge hole in the wall covered by a curtain. Comp breakfast in the morning was ok if you like Fruit Loops and a banana and toast- don't expect sausage and eggs. Over- all, I really have nothing good to say about this place. I felt OOOOGY sleeping on that bed at night. For about $10 or $12 dollars more we could have stayed near Hollywood at a VERY NICE Best Western! PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS AND YOU NEED A PLACE TO STAY- PLEASE!

First off I have to say that the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We required a lot of assistance with a special needs person, and they were always there right away to assist us. The room was very clean, smelled nice and I loved the mod decor. The free buffet breakfast was surprising. They had a very nice selection, from cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, sweet rolls ect. There were only a few things that were not great about our stay. There was quite a bit of traffic noise which made it a little hard to sleep. Also, I found it interesting that all of the handicapped accessible rooms were on the upper floors. If there ever was a fire or other problem, it would be difficult for a handicapped person to be evacuated. Overall though I was very pleased, and would recommend the hotel.

We went here on a trip to Cali last week. The only real gripes I have with this hotel are that there was no way to open a window either in your room or on your floor. The air was always stale and you'd wake up in the morning with stuffy noses and an over all allergy like feeling. The pillows were smaller than standard and were stuffed with down feathers. This was ok to sleep on at first, but eventually we had to go to a nearby Target and buy pillows cause we kept getting headaches. The staff was alright. They weren't the most friendly or chatty. They were kinda snotty really and tended to ignore you. The location of this hotel was great. I believe it's technically in Inglewood, but it's not a dangerous area (we didn't know this till later that LA is comprised of many smaller cities, more like how county's are in the east. We thought LA was just a city in CA, but it's a lot of them). It's not too far from Ralph's in Hawthorne (California's local supermarket) and Target and Walgreen's. There's a Mc Donald's directly beside this hotel, a Subway across the street and weirdly a Holiday Inn behind it. It's really close to a main highway, so if driving around with a GPS it's really not that far from San Diego and Aneheim etc. It's in a great spot for traveling a lot to see sights to get back to. It is about 3 minutes from LAX and if u rent a car you can easily park it in their teired lot (be aware the later you come back the higher up to park you'll have to go, but there are elevators). One drawback to this is that every morning before you leave you HAVE to go to the front desk BEFORE you go to take your car out because for some reason the card expires and they have to do something to it to make it work the next day....VERY annoying). Another thing about this hotel is it have a swimming pool on the 4th floor. We didn't actually use it so I can't say how it was etc. But for those who would like that kind of thing, you should probably check it out. Over all this hotel was pretty good for us cause we only used it to sleep and and keep our stuff. We spent all of our days sightseeing and taveling. If I had to spend more time in the hotel (with no fresh air....I don't think I'd be so happy). It does have air conditioning that you can control which is nice. There's not much to see in the area of the hotel, a few sad looking palm trees and a lot of concrete. Hollywood is where what you think of LA being is what it looks like.

The service was very good and the people were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that my family booked 3 rooms in January and we thought by booking 9 mos. early our rooms would be together but we were even on different floors. We also were under the impression that there would be a continental breakfast furnished since continental breakfast was listed on their information page but it wasn't a free continental breakfast as most hotels. The restaurant was excellent though. It was a convenient location to LAX.

My 7 month old daughter and I were stuck in L.A. because of mechanical problems on our military flight back to Japan. The airline put us up at Clarion, and the staff juggled over 100 people at once for check in, airport questions and more. We were all tired and moody and the staff was great. Because we hadn't expected to be stuck in L.A. for 2 days, I was running out of diapers and baby food, so the hotel manager asked the shuttle bus driver to get baby food for me. They wouldn't even let me pay. While it was an unfortunate situation, they made it as comfortable for us as possible. Thanks!

The room and hotel are clean and everything is in good condition. Easy access to LAX and 405. Heard some jet noise but it wasn't loud enough to be annoying. Didn't notice any noise from adjacent rooms.

The people at the front desk were very friendly and very helpful....the room was clean spacious and quite..best value I have found in my many trips to LA.
