Terrible Experience

First let me say, the area around the hotel is very beautiful, and people who work actually on the hotel grounds (janitorial staff, groundskeepers, facilities guys, etc) were WONDERFUL! Very nice and helpful - unfortunately, those were the ONLY positive aspects of this hotel. I organized a conference there for my company, and I was embarrassed to have them here.
The issues were:
• The rooms are shabby (cracked paint, chipped wood and tiles, peeling wallpaper, threadbare carpeting).
• The walls are PAPER thin (seriously - I could hear every conversation the people ACROSS THE HALL were having and that the woman next door had the sniffles – I am not exaggerating).
• They're expensive normally, but they add exorbitant fees for EVERYTHING ($10 to rent an extension cord for 8 hours, $180 a day for internet access, etc).
• In addition to charging internet access in the conference room, they charged some (but not all) of the attendees separately for personal access and amounts were all different ranging from $11 - $25 per person.
• One person was charged in error, and it took eight weeks for them to get refunded.
• 12 attendees waited over two months for the charges to go through.
• When I was trying to get the billing straightened out, I was directed to different "managers" who I later found out weren't managers at all.
• One person who emailed me regarding the issue had a woman's name in the email address, and a completely different man's name on the email signature, which seemed shady to me (and was never explained).
• I was told the person we’d originally arranged things with was no longer with the company, but then I received emails from her.
I could go on for a lot longer about all of the issues, but these are the highlights (or I guess I should say lowlights). I would never recommend this hotel and I would, in fact, STRONGLY encourage anyone thinking of staying here to reconsider.
