HORRIBLE CHRISTMAS DINNER
By Richard, 12/28/11
Where do I begin, went to Pierpont last year for Christmas with family had a GREAT time. Made reservations again this year and all I can say is DISASTER very very BAD!!!!! We waited almost 1 hour past our reservation time, food was worse than bad, service was equally as bad sorry to say but we will NEVER return. It was Christmas and we expected to have a great holiday sorry to say it was far from that!!!!!! Good Grief why change what was so successful the buffet last year was FABULOUS!!!!! and service was GREAT!!!!!

Not worth $99/night
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/4/11
I read bad reviews on this hotel, but thought I would try it anyway. Well, I will never recommend this to any of my family and friends. There was no information in the room about breakfast or the local area like hotels usually have. The breakfast offered was great the first morning. There were scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, muffins, cereal, coffee, milk, orange juice and fruit. The next morning there were muffins, cereal and milk. There was a serious lack of consistency. We had to ask the front desk for the cook to come out and take our order for breakfast. We werent provided a menu to order from and just got whatever they had. The room had an extreme smell of soap. The faucet in the bathroom didnt shut off and I hate wasting water! The coffee in the room was never replenished day after day. Maybe I am spoiled with going to regular hotels like Holiday Inn and The Hilton, but I would never expect this for the price. The power went out which I understand isnt the hotel's fault, but there was no customer care. We were stuck in the dark from 7 at night until 6 in the morning. Some sort of communication or even offering candles would have been nice. The rooms are NOT what is advertised online. There were wicker chairs in our room that had electrical or duct tape on the bottoms. There also looked like there was dried blood on the air conditioner/heating vent. The night stands were also in very poor condition. In summary, I strongly suggest you look for somewhere else to stay. This place is a joke!

WHERE'S MY REFUND
By Disappointed, 11/12/11
My daughter got married there in September and I had overpaid my account because of a change in guests coming. I called, left numerous messages and emails and I am still waiting for my refund. Pam and Angie don't call back or respond to your emails. I am very frustrated. This is not good business.

Very Noisy and it Stinks!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/3/11
I was very disappointed. Based on what I had heard I thought I was going to an elegant hotel with class. What I found was a very noisy location facing the freeway, a sewer smell and old furnishings and rooms that were badly in need of repair. The bathroom door was broken, the window was broken, the air wouldn't turn on. The freeway noise kept me us all night. Very disappointing. I would not stay here again and would certainly not have a wedding here. YUK!!

Thank you Pam and the Pierpont Staff
By RustyH, 10/17/10
My wife Natalie and I recently got married at the Pierpont Inn. Pam the events coordinator, who helped coordinate everything, was wonderful and made us feel at home. Everyone loved the food that was served at the wedding and the setting was perfect. The gazebo and courtyard was a great spot to be married. We were on a tight budget and they worked with us to make it the event we always dreamed of without having to go into debt to do so. We arrived on a Friday and spent the weekend. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed the extra night on Sunday to Monday morning. It was tough to leave but the honeymoon was calling us away. Thank you Pam and the Pierpont Staff

Horrible dirty room
By Sha, 8/6/10
We booked four days at this hotel stayed for an hour the room was dingy dirty and looked to be out of date with a dingy looking bedding a tv from the 7os It was horrible and apparently they have guests leave quickly as well as they had no problem letting us out of our stay w them when we told them about the room. Note rooms look nothing like the photos on their website. when we told them this they said a few rooms had been updated and the rest I guess looked the same as ours did like something out of the 70s in a cheap motel. It made motel six look like a 4 star motel. sheeesh

What a wonderful spot for a wedding weekend
By carol, 3/23/10
Okay what a place for the wedding new owners took over and boy am I glad my wedding was after they took over. The place is nothing short of fantastic. We of course worked with the Director of Sales and Catering Carol and her staff. In a word they were absolutly wonderful. Okay that is two words but I could go on and on. Carol promised me a wedding I would remenber...for all the right resasons. Oh yeah they delivered they actually sent it out of the park according to my husband who generally says nothing never mind raves on about our wedding and the Pierpont everytime we talk about it. Our wedding was truly the fairy tale the literature promised with the they lived happily ever after firmly in place when we left our wedding weekend. I recommend to everyone to do the wedding weekend we had so many out of towners from NYC I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them Carol and her staff planned outings, dinners, breakfasts, spa days it was unbelievable. She took alot of pressure off our mothers who then got to do all the fun mothers of the bride and groom stuff. Our guest filled so many rooms we were comped a bridal suite. I thought that was real nice but that is what the Pierpont staff is nice. Not enough service staff are nice these days and I really noticed all the nice around the place. Everywhere you looked there was nice. Now can we discuss the food love it love it love it, we all ate a lot of Pierpont cuisine that weekend and not one time were we disappointed. My husband says it was one better we were thrilled with everything. The rooms are very vintage in some areas of the hotel but we were all over the vintage. If you are looking for a sleek hotel room go somewhere else. But the banquets oh my god beautiful rooms, everything was perfect. They hand polish their glasses no spots on crystal. I was walking by the room the night before as they were setting up and four guys were in their polishing the silverware on the tables. Ya gotta love it who still does that. Our dj Frankie was really a part of the family by the end of the night. As a matter of fact all of us will be back in Oct as my cousin is getting married and was so impressed they booked their wedding with Carol that weekend. I guess what I loved the most about it was you always dream of your wedding as being special and different and so is this place special and different. We will remenber every minute of that weekend forever thanks pierpont staff and management. Fairy tales really do come true

Not worth it!
By M, 11/9/08
Did not get room "promised". Food poor. Desk help snarly! They are bothered by being there.Rooms dirty (this I could not believe).Asked desk saleschild about a nearby restaurant we asked "Is it a quiet place?" She responded with...."It's casual" huh? Mgmt needs to send her back to school. Ocean view what a joke!!! If you get a balcony stand in the corner, lean waaay to the left and you may get a glimpse. Better balances to stay than this dump.
