Our company was looking for a hotel in Napa that could accomodate our group for 4 days. We were very lucky to find this amazing hotel. Not only were the rooms, perfect and very clean, the staff and grounds were just as perfect. They took care of every request we needed and then some. I look forward to using La Residence for our next company retreat.

The best of the best......hands down

After returning from my 4th stay at this most luxurious and romantic hideaway, it seems to get better every time. From the amazing rooms, to the great breakfasts, and enjoyable wine and chocolate hour in the evening.....it makes NAPA the best place in the world. The staff is so helpful and incredibly nice. They will book dinners or wine tours for you or even sit and talk about the days current events. It is a must stay for any couple and you will NOT be dissapointed.

Noisy Napa

Elegant rooms and delicious breakfasts can not obscure the fact that this property is situated next to a four lane highway. The owners appear to have done nothing to sound proof the rooms, some of which are a mere 40 feet away from 24 hour passing traffic. Not a great choice for a relaxing or peaceful visit.

Home away from Home

Just got back from the Napa Valley with my husband last month. We found this beautiful little luxury inn on the internet and are so happy we chose La Residence for our latest trip to wine country. We travel to the napa a couple times a year and will always stay at La Residence from this point on. The rooms were beautiful and the beds and linens (a big detail for me) were so incredibly comfortable it was hard to wake for breakfast each morning. From the breakfast to the evening wine hour, everything was lovely. The concierge and guest service manager arranged a fun day of wine tasting to small, boutique wineries that we had never been too. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Napa Valley... you won't regret your choice and will plan your next visit before you even check out. It felt like a home away from home!

A Bad Experience

There are many things I disliked about our visit. I emailed the establishment to let them know we were coming to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and also was asking for restaurant recommendations so we could make reservations ahead of time. I received no return emails. Our room (which was a junior suite) was dark and dingy. The food was mediocre, at best. The outside pool was extremely dirty. They did not acknowledge why we were there. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Honeymoon Heaven

Perfect place for honeymoon. Romantic rooms, great service, good restaurants close by. The gardens are beautiful and the perfect place for a glass of wine or morning coffee. Beds were incredible, best night's sleep in a hotel. Our breakfast always had fantastic fresh fruit in the middle of winter. We will return for our anniversary.

Location good and bad

Le Residence is a very nice inn but its location is both good and bad. Good in that it is right on Rt 29 on the way to many of the great winerys of Napa. Bad in that its location is right on Rt 29. so there is some traffic noise. With that tradeoff, the staff is great, the food was wonderful, the room was comfortable and the wine and cheeses receptions were not to be missed. In the end, compared with more scenic inns, its a much better value and a nice place to stay.

Excellent stay

I loved the individual touches in each of the rooms and the location was nice. Had a wonderful small country inn feel.
