Good economical place to stay

Because Nite's Inn is located just south of the I-10, you might expect freeway noise to be an issue. I stayed on the second floor, facing the pool and never knew the freeway was there. The staff was very helpful, checking me in early. The continental breakfast included fruit, muffins and do-it-yourself waffles, along with fruitjuice, milk, coffee, etc.
Access to the freeway and Ontario airport were excellent; a shuttle stops by the inn if you need a ride to the airport. The inn is a block away from the convention center.
The rooms could use modernizing; the fold out bed/sofa had a couple of cigarette burns (even though I was staying in a non-smoking room). It was about what I expected from a budget motel. The room, however was clean and didn't smell. My room contained a microwave, a refrigerator and freezer, and a coffee maker. Best of all, there was a desk just perfect for my laptop, along with a high speed internet connection (some rooms have modem connections/perhaps an upgrade is needed for the high speed connection). I tested the connection speed; it was about 1.5 mps - the same as a T-1. MSN had a nasty habit of being the first site to appear in place of my home page. Since I didn't have a network cable, the front desk sold me one for $5.00; the same cable would have set me back $14 at CompUSA/Office Max.
To receive their corporate rate, all I had to show them was my business card. All together, a great place to stay for less then $60. per night.
