Embassy Suites Palm Desert Resort, Palm Desert

We just returned home from a wonderful 80th birthday celebration and stay at this hotel. The accommodations were wonderful and the staff exceptional. We enjoyed the manager’s reception and one of the best hot breakfast ever at a hotel. The staff was delightful and very attentive to our requests and needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Ordered roomservice. 1 1/2 hours later called them again they had forgot to put the order in. Got meal 2 hours after ordering it. Put food on counter by microwave. When we went to eat it, it was covered with ants. Manager did change our room from a non smoking to a smoking room. He also said that he would refund 1 nights stay. Still has not been refunded. Air conditioning in room didn't work had to ask for repair two times before it got fixed. Pay per view tv didn't work all weekend. Asked housekeeping for a role of toilet paper. 1 1/2 hours later had to ask a maid working on that floor to get toilet paper. To me this dose not represent Embassy Suites. Most Embassy Suites are very good 4 to 5 star rating. We will not be going back to this one.

I stayed at this hotel with my family, and while we were there my 3 year old son fell through the railing of the 3rd floor onto the awing covering the resturant patio. fortunatly he was not hurt only scraped up and scared. But, the hotel manager did not show any concern about him falling or make any effort to fix the railing, so no other child could get through it and fall. so if you want a safe place to go with your family do not go to this hotel.

Definitely an older hotel.The room was very spacious. Plenty of space which was great. The beds were rather small, we had 2 doubles, with not very comfortable bedding and terrible pillows...!! On the positive side.. The breakfast had a lot to offer, for free, which saved my family from going out. The Managers Reception was a nice place to relax and have a drink. The pool was beautiful. Overall a good value for the money. We would stay there again.

My car was broken into at 6:00 AM on Sunday. Someone who witnessed it from their room called the front desk and it took them 20 minutes to show up. A guy at the front desk said there were 3 car break in during the past year and for some reason they still had not installed cameras in the parking lot. They offered me nothing to compensate for my loss. Stolen golf clubs and camera, $1,400., not even a free night.

we were there as evacuees from the fires. The staff was very gracious and accomodating. Many of us were very stressed due to the situation and I know it must have been difficult for the staff as well. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay with your family or for a romantic get away..... Breakfast is very good, staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable,Sonora Grill Restaurant has delicious food..really enjoyed our stay...
