Holiday Inn Express Monterey Bay, Seaside

CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN & COMFORTABLE & great service. The breakfast was awesome, best continental we've ever had, even surpassed some restaurants. We were there for Monterey Aquarium and it was a little drive (7 min) but that was fine with us. We had a family of 5 stay in a 2 double bed room and it was a little cramped but do-able. But much better than paying for 2 rooms. There's no refrigerator or microwave in the room, which can be a problem but wasn't for us. Probably because they don't want people hoarding the breakfast food into their rooms. The bedding and room decor was spotless and inviting. The first time in years or maybe ever that I didn't feel the need to go and wipe everything down with Lysol. Thank you, Holiday Inn we'll definitely be looking for you again!!

The rooms were wonderful but the staff was poor and so was the pool! In the middle of the night we had the fire alarms go off because of some kids that blew off a fire extengwhiser. We had to be out in the cold for 1 hour and when we asked for a discount on the stay they said no! Would not recomend!

Private yet public... lots of stairs very well kept. Great people at the front desk, breakfast had to many carbs; is my only beef.

First of all we were charged double as the rates listed in this ad..adults and children running up and down hall ways at 3am...noise level very bad...rude children throwing water filled balloons from hallways onto cars from 3rd floors up...for the price no refrig or microwave..very disrespectful actions all over..will never go back!!!!

this place was incredible and the staff was extremely accommidating! i would reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit the area! A ++++++++

This year with be our 5th time staying at The Holiday Inn Express, Seaside. My husband is a Federal Goverment employee and has a Goverment convention meetings every year the last weekend in June, we never had any trouble continuing to get our great Govt rate. And to past my time away, I get to go to the Blues Festival. The hotel is in a great location is not far away for me to travel alone, I can go shopping and to the fairgrounds. Everyone takes care of us and is always very nice and friendly. I do wish they had a shuttle to take people to the fairgrounds, downtown or to Fisherman's wharf, parking is so bad in those areas. We look forward to seeing staff in June 07
