Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel, Beverly Hills

The two Mexcian front desk ladies were so arrogant, unfriendly and unproffesional. They must have thought that they were pretty since they worked on Rodeo Drive, but they looked like their attitdude, U-G-L-Y. The General Manager was a flake with a FAKE BRITISH ACCECT so that he can seem classey and handsome, even admiring himself in the mirror that was on his door. WOW, if he was even remotely attractive, I would understand, but this was not the case for him AT ALL. It was a headache dealing with the staff, so I went to another hotel. I have stayed in great hotels and this doesn’t even come close to it. If the room was okay, I would have been okay with the disgusting staff, but the room they put me in smelled like a convelescent home, stained carpets, old comforters with missing buttons. From the outside on Rodeo this hotel is really chic looking, but the inside staff and rooms are a different story. Honestly, I thought, I was on candid camera for the WORST HOTEL EVER episode.

First, let me point out that this is not the ideal luxury hotel because it is fairly small and lack many of the amenities that luxury hotel will have. (Luxe Sunset does.) However, I will say that the staff are very friendly and helpful. We aren't talking about that phony Hollywood smile you will find throughout LA. This is coming some the ultimate picking New Yorker( not mean I just know what I want and if its my money I deserve to get it. So, if you are looking for a hotel that offers a pleasant vibe, with a fresh crisp clean decor at a great price, check out the Luxe Rodeo. A few downsides, no spa, no pool, and lousy views. But hey, who comes to Beverly Hills for that anyways? Food: I hated the food but there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. If you like simple foods...this is not the place for you. They serve "TRUFFLE AND HERBES DE PROVENCE FRENCH FRIES." Luxe Rodeo is the only hotel that I will stay in when visiting Beverly Hills. Easy,convenient and affordable.

Our daughter put us into this hotel as an anniversary present. It was a perfect location. Door staff--valet, bellmen and restaurant/bar staff were excellent, very warm and friendly, though the front desk and management staff need to remember better customer service and act more friendly and less snooty. Rooms were on the small side, though wonderfully decorated. There was not a convenient place for luggage and closet was in an ackward location too close to the bathroom or entry door. Though close to shopping, it was very quiet and relaxing. Excellent linens and comfortable bed. Parking was very expensive, but we do have to remember where we are. For the price, it was an excellent bargain and very convenient to the things we were coming to do and see.

We stayed at the Luxe Hotel On Rodeo Drive and was pleasantly surprised! The room was immaculate, staff friendly and helpful and I really liked the simple modern design and decor. The lobby is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the shoppers but steps away from all the designer boutiques. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, nice bathroom amenities, Ipod docking station and flat panel television. the room was on the smaller side but well worth the price.
