LA has a secret
By Johnny D, 02/20/08
I loved everything about my exprience at the BHPH. The location could not be better, the rooms met all expectations and needs. The staff is full of friendly and courtious people. great food and drinks... as always, when I visit the LA area, thats where I will stay.

Terrible Customer Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/21/07
The stay was fine but after I checked out and got home I checked my credit card bill and there was an extra charge for a water, which I did not take. I called the hotel and left a message for the gentlemen who handles these types of situations but he never called me back. I called back again the next day and he said that he checked with his housekeeping staff and they said that there was one missing so there's nothing that he could do about it. I further explained that I did not take the water and never would, but he did not seem to care and kept it on my bill. I asked him whether it was possible that the housekeeping staff took this water and he said that they would not do such a thing because they are aware of the consequences. My stay was great until this happened and I will never stay at this hotel again since they essentially called me a liar.

"""Excellent"""
By NOBUKO, 06/11/07
My very important guests stayed here. They enjoyed the room arrangement with a kitchen, dining area and a living room. The bathroom is rather small but very well designed. The hotel almost seems like a little inn somewhere in Europe run by a family. The hotel people of all levels are very friendly and couteous. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!

WE WILL ALWAYS STAY HERE!!
By Charles, 10/28/06
This hotel was in an amazing area, close to Rodeo Drive,The Grove, 3rd Street Promenade, The Bev Centre and more! The room we had, Executive Queen was amazing! Living room/dining room, bedroom with marble ensuite. The pool was wonderful and the hot tube inviting. Staff were courteous and the restaurant was perfect!! Great European style hotel with lots of class and the price was fantastic!! Recommend to all who are visiting LA.

horrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/06
When we entered into the room, it looked decent. Then we found out that lights were not working, the room swipe card was not working and we had to flush the toilet twice and some times 3 times after use. There were no towels in the room on 2nd day. When we asked at help desk, the person started blaming us that you must have had used and threw them away. Is this the way, a customer is treated?? However we ignored these details. But on our last day, the toilet overflowed. It was horrible and dirty. The help desk came after long time after we called. By then, it was all over the place. This was so upsetting. We were feeling really dirty. We had to cancel our plans due to this. The staff was very rude. We were not allowed to talk to the manager. They even gave us a wrong name and contact number of manager. After coming back, we again tried to talk to the manager but nothing worked. This was our worst vacation ever. After this experience, we decided not to stay in at the Beverly Hills Plaza Dirty Hotel.

Terrible Hospitality
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/06
Upon arrival they had us wait with our suitcases for almost half an hour especially after a long flight. The front desk girl seem to have an attitude and wouldn't even acknowledge us. The guest checking out was complaining to see the manager and the manager wouldn't even come out to resolve the situation. I had a terrible experience upon arrival...but when we checked in the room was just terrible. They don't keep up to their reputation it was like a motel or maybe even worst. The owners should re-evaluate who they have working and representing them. They lack management and professional skills.I asked to speak to the manager but in the time, I was there, she was never available. It must be part of there strategy to hook you with a room and not care for hospitality!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE!!

A mismanaged hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/09/05
This place is completely disorganized and migmnaged by low-paid workers. We had asked for a roll-away bed when made the reservation for three nights and when we arrived, they didn't have a roll-away bed. Only on the last nigt they could manage to get one after repeated requests. The workers also had an attittude problem. Stay away from this old place.

Pumpering getaway!
By Svetlyachok, 05/23/05
European style relativly small hotel. Very close to everything, but nothing within walking distance. Excellent service, very clean. Calm, pumpering atmosphere. We loved their bath robes, heated pool with waterfalls, padded lounge chairs and secluded Jacuzzi. Great expirience!

Teeny, Tiny LIttle Rooms
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/18/05
The hotel lobby was quite impressive, the bar was great and the service was above average -- but the rooms were microscopic! The bathroom door hit the bed when opened, and my husband and I -- who are not large people -- were tripping over each other in the room. A regular room will provide a nice stay for one, but tight quarters for two. However, the location is excellent.
