Horrible place, stay away rude managers

I was not feeling well due to blood pressure problems and I live quite a ways from work, so I decided to just stop in and get a room for the night and rest. First thing I asked for non smoking room. I was given key to room 124. I immediately smelled smoke. My allergies went through the roof but I was sick and just wanted to lie down.
Pulled covers back, quilt had cigarette burns (I took pics of this) No shampoo only small cheap soap (was told by manager motel 6's does not provide shampoo) carpet was filthy, stained, big stains, I wouldn't let a dog lay on that carpet, Remote to TV did not work and worst of all I wanted to relax in a hot bath and found the water to be cold after running it almost half full. Called front desk and was told by clerk hot water heater was broken and maintenance had worked on it but there should have been warm water. I said no the water was cold, not even a hint of warmth at all. I got nowhere and finally just redressed and packed. Went to front desk manager came up and asked what was wrong I said no hot water, remote problems, smoke etc. He vehemently denied the hot water heater was broken even though clerk said so to me. He said he would give me another room for half off, I decided I didn't want to stay and asked for a refund, I had been there only three hours. He said he would not refund the money because I had been there too long already. He said it did not smell like smoke he knows this for a fact. I stood my ground with this man and he finally gave me a full refund but threatened that he was going to inform all motel 6 owners of other places because he knew people and I would never stay in another motel 6 again. I said I did not care. He asked for the key, I gave it to him; he then accused me of stealing towels. I had stopped and bought a change of clothes and a few toiletries before checking in and I said I did not steal from you. I am a hard working person and do not need to steal from a cheap motel. I calmly gathered my things and left with his ranting and yelling back and forth in the background. No I am not a prejudice person, but this man was clearly a person of Indian origin and was running this business as he saw fit instead of for the customer. I know it was a forty dollar room and I was not asking for satin sheets but hot water would have been nice to have no matter what the price. This motel is not even fit for a flop house. I do not recommend this place at all and trust me, if the Motel 6's are all like this I won't stay at one even if it were my only choice.
