Horrible Experience!
I will never go back!
every time I went in the lobby (had several problems) I had to wait for the woman to come from her car. and every time that she did finally come in, she wreaked of the smell of weed. the service she provided was horrible.
I had to change rooms 3 times. the first two rooms I got someone else was already in them. the third one was dirty, trash on the floor, dirty toilet(obviously the cleaning staff don't clean the toilets, who knows how long that stuff was sitting in there), no trash can, no soap, and a couple of the pillows smelled horrible.
At that point I would of left, except I have two small children and it was almost 11pm and they were ready for bed.
The front desk manager, in the morning, was wonderful! She reimbursed me and wrote down all of my issues. The difference between the service from her and the woman the night before was night and day. She was very apologetic for the womans behavior the night before and assured me that the situation would be taken care of.
This was my first stay at a La Quinta and I will probably never stay at one again because of this experience.
My goal was to save money, which happened, but it was an awful experience. Next time I would rather spend the extra money and get some real service and a clean room!
