Was the worst hotel experience EVER!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/8/11
My first indecation should have been I called the hotel directly to confirm the connecting rooms, that they would definately be non smoking and free hot breakfast. I got out one question and immediately was put on hold and connected me to reservation. He did this without explanation. The reservation was suppose to have been made through expedia but while talking to reservation to confirm the information about the hotel because we had four of our grandchildren with us Hilton booked it on their own. When my husband got to the hotel at 1100 the rate had been changed from 63.99 to 89.00 plus tax. They would not match the price. I was driving from fort worth tx and had to pull over to see what I could do about getting the reservation back with expedia. By that time of night all the rates were up. My husband said he would take care of it and for me to get back on the road, I arrived at 2 in the morning due to the time spent trying to get the problem solved. When we woke tried I wanted a shower and he wanted breakfast. When I had talked to reservation I confirmed it was a hot free breakfast but that was not the case. Breakfast at the hotel was going to cost 12.99 per person no matter the age. I called the front desk to discuss the matters after telling the clerk everything she ask me to hold so I could speak to the manager. After holding for twelve minutes once I started timing the clerk came to the phone and said the manager said there was nothing she could do. The manager could not even have the courtsey to come to the phone. I called back asked to speak to the manager after fifteen minutes of holding she came to the phone asked waht did I want her to do .... give my WHOLE family free breakfast for the ENTIRE weekend. I explained that when you travel with four children you don't want to pay 12.99 per peron to eat. Her suggestion was I go outside the hotel and find a cheaper place to eat. The air conditioner in our room made a running fountain noise at this time I told the manager about that also and she said they do that. I told her the one in the kids room didn't and she said some do some don't. She offered to try to find us other rooms but couldn't gaurentee that they would be connecting. I could believe my ears.We had already tried to change our reservation but Hilton would not release our funds. We were also told the rooms had refridgerators and they did not. We got past all of this and decided to not let the money interfere with our weekend. We went out for the day. Went to climb Pinnacle Mountain would recommnend that to everyone. Got down went to the park the kids ran and play for another hour. Did not have a room serviced by putting the do not distrub sign out but wanted more clean towels. We were given three more towels for six people and was actually told that was all the towels they had. I got up the next morning to go to the restroom I did not turn on the light but when my husband came into the restroom he did and right by my foot was a spider. We packed our things and were making trips to our vehicles. We went back to the rooms to get those things and take a last look before I took the spider that we had killed to the front desk ad when we walked into the room house keeping had been in the room and left a dirty linen roller cart in our room even though the do not distrub sign was still on the doors. The smoke detector battery was down and it blinked ALL night our last night there. I would have expected a better stay at a Motel 6. As I was complaining to the desk clerk the lady standing beside me who was waiting said she had some of the same issues with the breakfast thing and the linens. I would recommend ANY Motel 6 before I would recommend the Hilton Little Rock Medical Center Hotel. I have waited two days to place. I left my contact numbers with two different people for someone to contact me and NO ONE has tried except for a general e mail thanking me for choosing Hilton.

car will get broke into or stolen
By tash, 11/5/09
This is the worst Hilton I ever stayed in. The room service was f+++, while we were checking in, a guest was very up set about the housekeeping. ( I now no why) cars were broken into , cars were stolen, so I over heard at the front desk. You need to read the small sign at the front desk about the theft accouring every night at this hilton,, good luck love the coffee

Very disappointed for a Hilton Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/18/09
We arrived late at night, checked into our room ready for a nice hot shower only to find that there wasn't a shower curtain! Informed front desk, we had to pack up everything and move to another room. Both room smelled moldy. Would not stay there again!

Good location, great staff, comfortable rooms
Very close to all the hospitals and the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Staff went above and beyond while staying for an extended period of time during some hospital treatments. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great Value !

Great Restaurant and Clean Rooms
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/12/07
This hotel is clean and the restaurant great. The suite we stayed in was a lovely two level gem. So close to the hospitals; it is ideal for patient families or visiting physicians.

Best Rooms Ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/23/05
This hotel was a pleasant surprise - the rooms were freshly renovated and were so comfortable and well put-together! Very stylish color palatte and accessories in the room, and the beds were AMAZING. The most comfortable ever, with a mound of feather pillows, a very pretty duvet and a bed-width neck roll, not to mention a down comforter. I didn't want to get up in the morning. The showers were great - wide tub with arced shower curtains to give you plenty of room. This is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed with in Little Rock - and it's still very close to all the local attractions. The Doubletree and Peabody are considered the "best" hotels in the area, but I'd choose the Hilton any day - the rooms are cleaner, the service is nicer and the hotel as a whole is quieter. And, the fitness room was huge - with brand new equipment. Everything was great - restaurant, meeting space, pool area, rooms, front desk service. I will definitely make it my first choice next time I'm in Little Rock.

Comfortable Business Hotel
By Dana, 5/19/05
Hotel has extremely comfortable beds, and is very clean. Its a bit hard to access the hotel as you have to go down a side street. But definately a nice place to stay on a business trip.
