Expensive.
By Sharan G, 09/15/09
I stayed for five nights, with ny son. We have Navajo friends, this is why we stayed here. I have just received my payment detail, and am surprised how much it was. $946.45!!(£575.53) that is over £100 per night. I didn't realise so many taxes were to be added on. We had to eat out,as we couldn't afford to eat in their restaurant. We will not be staying there again.

Bugs, Roaches and more bugs
By John, 07/31/08
We arrived at our room greated by at least 15 roaches, crickets and other crawling creatures. We killed them, but they kept coming through cracks in the walls and floors. We called the manager for a new room. The manager came to our room and was upset, very upset to where he had fight in his eyes...ridiculous!! He argued with us as if we brought the bugs in. He was also angry because we wanted to change rooms...we even showed him a trash can of dead bugs..seriously! I would not recoomend thsi hotel to anybody unless you can sleep in bug infested rooms. Across the street is a Hampton Inn, brand new but does not show up at many hotel sites. Call them directly.

not such a good stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/07
We stayed at this inn one night and wished we had driven further or stayed at the Hampton Inn. This property is very outdated. It is something right out of the early 70's. The entry ways to the motel were not convenient for rolling luggage. They had to be pulled up several steps. There wasn't an elevator for the second floor. The full length mirror was missing from the bathroom door and there was still adhesive and clips where it had been. I had bussiness that I needed to do on the internet and I found out that it was out of service. According to the front deck, "It had been out the day before and I guess it must still be out". When I talked to the manager about the enternet she said I could come and use their's in the office. This was unacceptable to me. There also wasn't enought out lets for modern items most people travel with. Room needed lot of general repair. The pool and hot tub had items floating in the water and dirt layers on the bottom.

Comfortable, affordable, simply a great hotel in a great location!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/10/05
We stayed at the Holiday Inn, Kayenta for a 1 night stop off on our Arizona road trip. This is possibly the best hotel, out of 7, of our whole vacation. The location is great just a 30 minute drive to Monument Valley in a great little town. The rooms are motel style 2 levels with ample parking at your room door (if you are in a ground floor room). So it was very convenient to just back up and unload all baggage. The room itself was large and spacious, very clean and comfortable. One wall was exposed stone, a very nice earthy touch, especially considering the geographic surroundings. The décor of the whole hotel is actually had a very southing feel to it, alto of wood and exposed stone work. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent with a very nice atmosphere. There is a pool which looked really nice but we did not have time to actually take a dip. To be honest 1 night was not enough time to truly enjoy this beautiful hotel! Check out the gift shop. It’s excellent! Loads of bargains to rummage for. If your looking for somewhere to take a rest on a long road trip this is the spot to do it.
