Overall OKAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/09
The breakfast was wonderful... much more than you get at other hotels in the $80-100/ night range. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. My biggest complaint was the $15/day charge for WIFI. I think that it is a horrible thing to do, espicially for guests traveling on business. I honestly felt like there was a hidden expense and overly priced services at every turn, from the $4 bottle of water in the room, to the $15 WIFI connection and $16 pay per view movies. Overall the stay was OKAY, but I will stay elsewhere on my next trip so I don't have to pay to access the web.

A week at the Biltmore Embassy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/12/08
We returned from our week long stay on 4/12/08. The hotel was nice but definitely lacked some amenities that one would expect with the high cost and its affiliation with Hilton. The hotel doesn't have a shop to pick up any snacks, magazines or papers. (they do provide the USA today daily.) Also there is no coffee shop, only a restaurant. So in the evening if you want a light fare, you have to look to the nearby mall for Cheesecake Factory and other restaurants. THe rooms are adaquate, but could use a major remodeling. The bathrooms are small, the decor dreary, and the lighting very poor. In spite of you newly acquired tan, the lighting makes you look sallow and as dreay as the decor. The hotel is across from the Biltmore Mall, but unfortunately many of the stores are out and major construction is underway. Once that is completed there will be more choices of restaurants and shopping. The beautiful weather is definitely a draw to Phoenix, but I would look elsewhere to stay if I were to return.
