Never again
By Colleen F, 01/04/09
Most of the staff is very friendly but the "Theme Room" was located on the 3rd floor corner directly above the patio which was full of very loud people whose often obscene language easily reached our room in spite of all the windows being completely closed. To drown out the noise we finally had to turn on the window vent unit which had one speed only and that was very high volume and extremely loud. The room was clean and the beds quite comfortable but the decor was, in no way, of any recognizable "theme" which is in part what we were paying for. The roller shades on some of the windows were torn and the "historic" windows so poorly maintained that they rattled when we walked across the room. When we expressed our disappointment at check out the desk clerk had nothing to say except that no one had ever before complained about that room being noisy. Needless to say we will never stay there again and will tell our visitors to look elsewhere when they visit Bisbee.

we had a wonderful time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/02/07
we loved staying in the victorian hotel. the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner in their restaurant, their lamb was wonderful and tender. We ate outside on the porch. We stayed in the Teddy Roosevelt room on the 4th floor. It was clean and comfortable. Don't expect a marriott, it's like going back in time. No paper or coffee in room. But you can get those in the lobby. The prices aren't higher than in any other town. We'll be back.

Go Somewhere Else!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/07
Unreal in cost.....such a rip-off. $160.00 for a king room that had nothing to offer. They wanted $180 for a room with two beds which didn't include tax of any kind so we probably would have paid $200. They thought they were giving us a good deal when they gave us a king room at a queen price. Since we arrived late and didn't want to go out in the dark since we are older women, we went ahead and stayed. What a mistake!!!!! So take my advise and ride your horse and yourself to another hotel for the night - you will be happy you did.

Sadly sliding downhill
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/06
The Queen used to be a wonderful place to dine but recent changes in ownership management and staff have taken it far down from it's throne. We used to go all the time - the last three times it was bad, worse and worst. What a shame! Terrible service and unimpressive food.

Rude
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/06
We never even had an opportunity to stay! The hotel was booked so we asked the person at the counter for any suggestions where else we could stay in Bisbee. He seemed very bothered and reluctantly gave us a number of another hotel. But it was NOT a hotel but a store in Naco! Unbelievable!!! I will never try to stay there again!

Rude People!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/06
NOT worth the money, small rooms, way overpriced, rude staff. Save yourself don't go here. People only stay here because its the "big" hotel, there are so many better places to stay in Bisbee, Call the Chamber of commerce they should help.

My 7/2/06 review was erased
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/06
We did a 1 star negative review for the Copper Queen Hotel for our 7/2/06 stay there, and now it is gone. We told the truth about this place as overpriced, really noisy a/c unit that woke us up most of the night. The leaky toilet, and the 2 roaches we saw there. The bedding was worn out and the furniture was scratched up. We were in the Teddy Roosevelt suite at $218.00 total price for one night. A few of his pictures hang in there and that's what makes it his room. When we checked out the tall cowboy looking man (they have young friendly women for check in) but this guy for check out. I guess they hope to discourage you from complaining. He knocked $10.00 off of our room. I won't even get into the balony we were told when we booked this room about it having 2 bedrooms. It didn't and when we told them that after getting the room key, they didn't know what we were talking about. Let's see if they can get this truthful review removed also. I am an honest person and would not give anyone a bad review unless they earned it. This place earned it. Stay somewhere else. This place is all about the money......

so so
By Sherri, 07/04/06
Service in Restaurant is at a turtles pace. Food goes from good to blah, bland. I don't suggest any of my visitors go there. I don't ask anyone to take me there either....however, the bar is pretty good. Nice atmosphere in both.

Not bad.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/06
The hotel was very lovely to look at. The restuarant was very good. You get your money's worth of food, for sure. We stayed 2 nights in the Julia Lowell room. Supposedly the most haunted room in the hotel, according to some ghost hunters. We experienced nothing, except the toliet backing up, on the morning we were to leave. The hotel graciously allowed us to use the room next to us for showering. They also gave us our breakfast for free, due to the inconvienence. I would recommend skipping this "Theme" room and staying in a less costly regular room. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Bisbee is a nice little town to visit.

Copper Queen Hotel? I'll be back alot!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/06
Three friends and I stayed at The Copper Queen Hotel this weekend (June 16,17 2006) and had a blast. The rooms are nice and we even had a clawfoot bathtub. The old west/turn of the century decor was great and the new owners are working to restore it back to an even more complete turn of the century after the last owners kind of modernized it. The Winchesters food was great and I think I had a great time in the saloon (though I'm not sure as there are several blank spots in my memories) Ask for Olivia when drinking there...she rocks! In all the place was great, good food, atmosphere, staff and mgmt.
