Best Western Space Age Lodge, Gila Bend

Very thin walls. TV next door was louder than mine! And the train runs RIGHT behind hotel every 1/2 hour. I stay almost exclusively in BW's, and most are WAY better than this. I think BW sponsored this one just to have a hotel in an in-between area. On the plus side, the desk clerk let me put my motorcycle under the windw due to a monstrous rain coming. I have the feeling it is the better of the hotels in this small town.

A fairly standard motel with a little fun added with the space age decorations. The price included a limited breakfast in the restaurant next door. I had hot cereal, muffin, sliced bananas, and coffee. The air conditioner was mounted upside down and very high. An on/off switch was the only control. I was comfortable but those with specific temperature requirements might not be happy.
