Older motel with renovated rooms "Security" doors to building didn't latch, let alone lock; some propped open with buckets/ashtrays, even near non-smoking rooms Laundry room - soap machine and one washer broken, no change machine Room decent - Federal-style cherry finish furniture, microwave, dorm refrigerator, profusely leaking coffee maker Bathroom clean, but tub and shower curtain looked grimy Clerk quoted about $10 more than 1-800 line Asked for quiet room; same clerk put me in a room facing the noisy street - walls and doors thin; beware to light sleepers No front desk clerk at 6:15 to give out breakfast voucher; TV loudly blaring in the back office - nice server got voucher for me JB's Restaurant - server kind and attentive; breakfast buffet lukewarm and unappetizing I won't ever stay here again

I will say the stay was a bit pricy, I have stayed at nicer places for not much more. However the hotel is centrally located, very clean spacious rooms, remodeled in 2008 so it had a more modern feel and not the drab southwestern spread most older hotels have. I was able to park right outside my door (bottom floor and not near pool.) Thhere is a JB's returaunt on premisises which you are given a free hot breakfast pass for, which was wonderful, and upstairs is a sports bar One Eyed Jacks which was also really nice for the nightlife scene, you can even order from JB's downstairs...could go have a few drinks and walk back to our room. All staff from hotel and resturants were extremly friendly. We even forgot to pack toothpaste and were able to get some free from the front desk versus other places where you have to pay. Over all it was a great stay and we can't wait to go back and stay here again!!

We stayed there twice in the fall of 2009. Clean rooms, good value. Free breakfast buffet in the adjoining JB's Restaurant. We plan to stay there again this summer when in Show Low. Would recommend it.

Hotel was dirty and in extreme disrepair... no hot water in the shower, doors unsecured, and apathetic hotel staff... will NOT stay there again and do NOT recommend for anyone.

This place was highly overrated!The price paid for one night's stay vs. quality. For $40 more a stay at the Holiday Inn- if they had vacancies-would have been better . No complimentary breakfast, only coffee, no restaurant but a bar! If you're traveling with family I would not recommend staying here! The bar is in the same building as the office and is too noisy for nearby rooms. On the other than, the staff was very friendly and our room was clean. Overall, our visit was uncomfortable and overpriced.
