DON'T FORGET YOUR JEWELRY!
By david r, 01/06/08
We checked out on Mon. 12/31, and at the same time was closing escrow on our new home. During the rushing of checking out and closing escrow that day, I took my wedding band off to put some hand cream on and placed it on my carry on luggage, which was on the bed we didn't use. With everything going on that day, I forgot to put my ring back on when I grabbed my carry on luggage and the ring was left in the room, either on the bed or it fell on the floor. I called the Hotel that night and explained what happened. I was told that they would check with housekeeping the next day, and also advised them to check the vaccum bag. I went back the following day and checked the room---no ring found by myself, nor housekeeping?????? I have very large fingers, and wedding band was 18 ct. gold with several diamonds on the top, and would stand out like a sore thumb. I'LL LET YOU BE THE JUDGE OF WHAT HAPPEN TO MY RING!

we're GOING back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/06
I thought for our budget, it was great!!! We were there for spring training baseball. It was handy to ALL the ballparks, our room was very clean, and kept that way, we had good service, every day, and enjoyed a great breakfast start to every day. I'm making a reservation for this spring again!!! It was quiet, relaxing, a great baseball vacation home base. Thanks Ramada on Dysart!

Its fine for the money!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/01/05
The people at the counter were very friendly but a little slow. The outside looks just fine and it's in a good area (I felt safe). The inside of the rooms are nothing special. The floors are a little stained, but seriously people what do you expect for cheap cheap? There IS an air conditioner, for some reason people are saying there isnt one. There IS a continental breakfast, I guess other people who wrote reviews couldn't find it for some reason. It is in the lobby in the breakfast area, has coffee, juice, bagels, cereal and muffins. The shower works good, just takes a little strength to move the knob to change the temperature. The only thing I wasn't too impressed with was how hard the beds are, but I guess you get what you pay for! So if your looking to stay somewhere cheaper, go here, but if you have the money for higher end then spend the money!

Not worth the money!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/05
Our first visit to Goodyear...we tried to save some money...what a mistake. Our room smelled like wet dog or a horse-manure-covered boot. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. We were given another room...but it still smelled. The furniture fabric was stained. The bathroom should have been condemned...floor stained from flooding and the bathtub was stained, too. The towels were the smallest I have ever seen for a chain motel. They should completely remodel or tear it down!!!!

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/05
I set this up for my family as a travel agent trying to be economocal. DFound out that there was no air conditioning and we had 2 members that were asthmatic - the air outside was very dusty and smelled. We had to sleep with the sliding glass doors, unsecured ad wide open to the unsecured courtyard. I kept waking up afraid that someone would enter our room in the middle of the night. My cousin got sick from having the door open. When we asked for extra pillows, they didn't have any. The lighting in the bathroom was awful I had to go outside to put my makeup on. The room smelled like feet AND they refuse to pay my commmision! It's been 5 months!! I paid for 4 rooms!! I've stayed at Roach Motels that were bettr than this!

My Choice in Avondale/Goodyear
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/04
I stay here each time I am in the area. I find the accomodations above average and the staff has always treated me with friendly professionalism. The rooms are comfortable and "roomy". There is a lounge located in the establishment that is both relaxing and friendly. I highly recommend this Ramada.

Don't stay here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/04
Don't stay at this Ramada in Goodyear AZ, the beds were old and warped in the middle, didn't clean the room, change sheets, take trash out and didn't replace towels with clean towels. When I informed front desk about room not being cleaned, they were very rude, and I had to pick up the clean towels myself. Will never stay there again, they did not try to accomadate us at all, and I went to AZ to see my son (army) that had a two week leave from Iraq.
