DON'T FORGET YOUR JEWELRY!

We checked out on Mon. 12/31, and at the same time was closing escrow on our new home. During the rushing of checking out and closing escrow that day, I took my wedding band off to put some hand cream on and placed it on my carry on luggage, which was on the bed we didn't use. With everything going on that day, I forgot to put my ring back on when I grabbed my carry on luggage and the ring was left in the room, either on the bed or it fell on the floor. I called the Hotel that night and explained what happened. I was told that they would check with housekeeping the next day, and also advised them to check the vaccum bag. I went back the following day and checked the room---no ring found by myself, nor housekeeping??????
I have very large fingers, and wedding band was 18 ct. gold with several diamonds on the top, and would stand out like a sore thumb.
I'LL LET YOU BE THE JUDGE OF WHAT HAPPEN TO MY RING!
