Lived in a dream...

Just got back from a trip to the Fairbanks area. Went to spend Thanksgiving with my soldier son who recently returned from deployment - that said - we needed a comfortable place to make the most of our week long trip and enjoy each other's company. The Wedgewood fit that goal nicely!! Pleasant, helpful staff; clean-n-comfortable accomodations. We were in a 1 bedroom former 'apt' on the second floor (told these were once apartments for folks who worked on the pipeline and later converted). The local paper was delivered to our door daily...WOW. Washers and dryers ($) were available on the first floor. Although their on-site restaurants are only open May thru Sept, it wasn't a problem - each 'apt' has a complete kitchen and there are restaurants (similar to the 'lower 48') within the Fairbanks area. There is a shuttle available to and from the Fairbanks airport. If all these ammenities remain the same, you will NOT be disappointed!
Alaska was beautiful - even in the Winter...
