Serious Mis-Management Stay Away

Only good thing at this hotel was Anthony at the front desk -- professional and dignified. The rest of the staff and especially the management were unhelpful and even argumentative. No real manager on duty -- just a recent graduate. Alot of non-english speaking employees in customer contact positions -- I mean zero english. Unless you Golf this is out of the way of everything in the region and hard to find, way off highway and miles from town.
King 'suites' were tiny compared to others. Extra charges for everything even the weather forecast. Two small TVs with a total of about a dozen news oriented channels. No children's channels. Everything else is extra charge. Bell hops work if tipped before service else you're on your own. They parked the hotel vans and vehicles under the covered arrival area when it rains let guests unload and walk in the rain!!!
The rooms are only surface clean -- look around and you find soil and grime, but only on fridges, phones, microwaves, etc. Ventilation is filthy, but fortunately it doesn't work. Comforter on bed is nice, rest of bedding is substandard.
The police were there a couple times -- see e.g. pics at travelpost.com. Security wandering the lobby. Workers looking in windows. Not what you expect.
Restaurant manager who can't handle busy periods. No clean tables, chaos and confusion everywhere.
These people just don't get what business they claim to be in. Overall a horrid experience -- too many nice hotels in Greenville area to bother with this -- please go elsewhere.
