Shilo Inn Suites Hotel Warrenton/Astoria, Warrenton

Well it was no where near 128 dollars, try 163 dollars after taxes for a King size bed. The room was awesome. We had a view of the water. I disliked coming around the corner and being face to face with a very large dog barking at me while the owner struggled to restrain the dog. If you are afraid of large dogs be aware they allow them to stay. 2 seperate people complained that the first room they were given smelled of cigarette smoke. I think they tried to pass off a rotten room onto two different people..... Our room was oder free but was located right next to the staircase. It was very noisy and hard to sleep sometimes. It is not worth the 163 dollars a night, but they were the only place in town that was still taking people. I asked if they offered a weekly rate or discount for a 5-6 night stay and they said no way. That would roughly be 1,000 bucks just for lodging and way out of our budget. I did not attend the breakfast due to my food allergies. I was very upset that the pool and hot tub were not controlled better. There are rules and state laws posted and yet parents allowed their kids to act like wild animals. The pool was over the maxium limit and so was the hot tub. No one enforces the rules. It was a nice pool and hot tub though. From what I have seen online it's very hard to find a good place to stay on that side of town.
