Love The New Changes

Although the hotel is currently going through constuction the staff did every thing they could to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I travel a lot for business and always stay here but I have noticed some great changes taking place. The new ownership has done a wonderful job and the renovated rooms are great. I stayed in a Parlor Suite and everything was brand new: furniture, carpet, artwork, flat screen tv's, granite bars and feather filled duvets. I learned that the construction is set to be done March 2009 and I can't wait to come back. The breakfast is great as well! Plus the location can't be beat- I loved being able to walk everywhere.

do not stay here until all construction COMPLETE

they are under renovation and did not mention that during multiple calls to get res completed, changed , etc. I arrived and had construction NOISE and NO WATER--"oops, they broke a main" No apologies, no refund. I checked out, unable to shower, and they CHARGED ME TWO NITES STAY even though I checked out after one nite. After multiple calls; reassurances, NOTHING done to resolve this. I now go to corporate HQ to complain...wish me luck!!!!
