Quality Inn and Suites Champaign, Champaign

Was only at this place for three days. Rooms/Bath - nice and clean. TV no problem. Good friendly staff. Great location to get around this area.

We wanted a hotel with a pool for the kids to swim. We get there hotel looks good rooms are nice, clean. Go to the pool and wow the clorine is so strong your eyes get red and watery as soon as you enter the pool area. The pool was very cold, and so cloudy you could not see the bottom. The hot tub was ok but it had bubbles like in a bubble bath and again the clorine was enough to knock someone out. Would not recomend this hotel if you want to enjoy a pool. You will not enjoy this pool.

We had reservations for this hotel. WE called ahead to check on our reservations and the person we spoke to had a hard time answering our questions. When we got there we checked in...all was ok. The room we got was very spacious and nice for our family of 5. We got ready to go to the pool. We entered the pool area and instantly noticed out strong the chlorine odor was. It stung our eyes as soon as we walked in. My 9 yr old jumped into the pool and instantly came out and said..my gosh that is so cold! My husband got in and also said that the pool was very cold. My 5 yr old and 3 yr old didn't even want to stay in. I went out to the front desk to inquire as to why the pool was so cold...I was told that was a maintenance issue and she could not help me. When I got back to the pool my 9 yr old was coughing. My husband went out and asked if it was ok if we checked out. We've never done this before at any motel we've stayed at. They said it was ok and we left. My daughter coughed for over 2 hours after we left. The chlorine was extremely strong and had irritated her lungs. Overall the motel is nice...good location, nice rooms etc. But don't plan on staying if you are wanting to use the pool--you won't enjoy it :(
