Tradition Inn, Farmington

The hotel was very nice for a mid range hotel. However, I don't understand why the attached eating and drinking establishment is allowed to pipe loud music out into the parking lot until the wee hours of the night. The music was loud enough that I had to run the fan in the room, the fan in the bathroom and the television to drown it out. It was very disturbing. The staff at the Tradidion inn was very nice and the breakfast was good. However, i would choose a different motel because of the noise from the adjoining bar.

I LOVE this hotel. It was so clean, the service is wonderful, the staff is helpful, and the overall cleanness of the hotel is great. I have stayed at the Days Inn which is across the street which had horrible rooms that smelled like mold. mildew, and cigarettes combined, and also always had a garden hose running into the pool... but I found this hotel to be absolutely TERRIFIC!!!!!!

I was reading the negative reviews on this place and to be honest I thought they were talking about another motel up the road. I've have stayed at Tradition Inn for years and have never had a complaint. Rooms are always clean. Service has always been good and its easy to get in and out of. Don't be afraid of staying here if your in the area.

My husband and I check in and were immediately displeased but thought to give it a chance. The hotel is terribly outdated and did not seem very well kept. The smell and the mold left much to be desired. We decided to go to the pool and that was no better. They had a garden hose running continually into the pool. For what reason I am uncertain. Also while out at the pool we encountered people that were not hotel guests, and were smokers! Though not rude, we were ready to head back to our room for a smoke-free retreat. As we were changing clothes for the evening I picked up one of my bags and numerous roaches came crawling out from underneath. I was absolutely disgusted! The one good thing that came out of this was they did upgrade us to another hotel! The move was well warranted in my opinion. I would not recommend this facility to any person who values privacy, cleanliness, and a bug free environment!!!!!

I was given a room that reeked of stale cigarette smoke & mold (because the carpet had mold/mildew) with a lovely view overlooking a parking lot/gas station. I also really enjoyed the highway noise, such a lovely place.

I came here for the weekend to visit my son. Everyone at the hotel was so courteous and welcoming i cant wait to come back. Whenever I do come back to the Farmington area I will for sure be booking here.

I didn't think this was a bad place at all. I've stayed in nicer hotels, but I've also stayed in a lot worse. The continental breakfast was more of a grab and go than you would get at say a Drury Inn, but overall the facility was clean, the breakfast was fresh, and the staff were moderately friendly. The rooms are a little dark, so some newer lighting wouldn't be a bad investment.

The place was a mess! It's one of the worst ones I have ever stayed in. The people there were rude!! I would rather stay in a tent!!

Nice location & pricing was good. The employees & manager are not at all customer orianted. They are down right rude & they talk down to you. You better be out by check out time & not ever request a late check out, cause if you do not leave on time, they actually called the local police to come to make us leave at noon. With 221 travel days a year, this was the most rude & nasty experience I've ever had. All we did was request a 1pm check out time. There is a distinct ordor in the building, like old socks. They do not have a hot tub, (haven't had one for years). They have falsely listed a HOT TUB in their amenities on the Yahoo listing. I would not recommend staying at this Tradition Inn.

I thouhgt the place was great.40 of us golfers stayed there for 3 nights.The people running the hotel and Spokes were very plessant.We played the Eagle Lake golf course for 3 days.Would come back to tradition and swim and go out for the evening.Nice town great folks all around.Looking forward to staying again.
