Best Western Regency Inn, Lexington

This hotel was dark, dirty and unsafe. None of the outside doors locked, if they closed at all. The carpet and bathroom were so gross that I didn't want to take my shoes off. The front desk screwed up my room 3 times. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

This hotel is just OK. Some of the rooms are located around the back of the hotel. If you check in at night, you really don't want to go back there. It's kind of like a dark alley, and you'll never find your room. The beds are moderately comfortable, and the bathroom had hot water. In our room there was some gunk around the outside of the bathtub, and the AC sounded like an airplane engine running. This isn't a bad hotel if you're just sleeping there. The jacuzzi was pretty nice, and I liked that there were clean towels available. I didn't go to the pool, so I can't say much about that. The continental breakfast wasn't the best. The hotel advertises hot waffles at their breakfast, so I was looking forward to that. However, the lady who was putting out the food simply commented that the machine was "tore up", and they didn't know when they would get a new one. There were hard boiled eggs and orange juice available as well. Overall, not a bad place to stay, but it's not the best either.

My teen daughter and I stayed there one night last month. The service was efficient and friendly and the pool was cool and welcome. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was satifactory. The hotel is very close to a huge shopping mall which my daughter loved. I'm looking forward to staying there again when I return to Lexington.

This was a wonderful stay. We had 11 rooms occupied and had no problems. This is a small hotel that was the perfect size for a baseball team to stay. There were many restaurants within walking distance. The pool and rooms were clean. The breakfast area was not so clean, but a small price to pay when everything else was wonderful.

We stayed a night in their Regency Suite and were sorely disappointed. The first thing we noticed was that there was cold, leftover coffee in the coffeemaker. This led me to wonder if this could have been missed by housekeeping, what else could they have overlooked?? The jacuzzi was practically falling apart, with the large square piece covering the motor lying in the floor. We attempted to replace it, but could not get it to hold. The coffee table in the bedroom was also in bad shape. You couldn't touch it or put anything on it because it was so unstable. The sheets on the bed did not properly fit the bed and weren't even tucked in - just thrown over the mattress. Finally, the room itself just seemed dirty. There were little piles of dirt in the corners of the room and hairs (animal or human???) all over the furniture. I would NOT spend another night in this hotel. I was appalled at the treatment of their SUITE, and would never want to see one of their regular rooms.

Check in was quick, the clerk was friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. There are several fast food restaraunts within walking distance (Cracker Barrel is right across the parking lot). It is conveniently located right off of I-75 & 64.
