The Medina Oberoi, Al Madinah

Everything is Well Handled. The Luxury is Good . The Food is Excellent. the Staff is Not Professional .

I was very happy when I got a reservation in Madina Oberoi on the busiest period of the year. The service was excellent. I got the twin bed room with the view of Haram but was only able to see the King Fahd Gate of the Grand Mosque. My room was wide and comfortable. The dining was also good. I really liked the fitness centre on the top floor. Overall, I had a very good experience in there. I wish I could be there every time I visit Madina.

When you hear the word Oberoi, you first think its the best place to be, i do agree that the location is very good and nice, but when we got there we were expecting a very good room with a good view of the masjid al nabawi, but when we went in, we saw that the room wasnt very spacious, as it wasnt wide, but very narrow, and we then went directly to the window and saw nothing, only a road nearby showing the people going to the haram, the room was very tight and we were a family of 5... we paid more than a thousand SR for a night till the next day, but had an average experience. maybe the hotel was full that time and we got lucky, but im sure that i wont come back to it again, i would prefer some other hotel nearby.

This hotel has a great location, but nothing else. The Reception is located on the first floor, but you only find that out if you ask. The colours and lighting are dull. The lobby is boring. The food is awful. The hotel is not worth the money. I would avoid it at all cost.
