Radisson Suite Hotel Huntsville, Huntsville

I am writing this review from our Radisson room, so I can give you a first hand view of what to expect. I should also say that I've stayed here more than 100 times over the past 3 years - company's decision not mine. First the good news... the hotel has a decent outdoor pool, is located on the south side of Huntsville, and recently started offering a free buffet breakfast. Now the bad... the rooms are filthy, some are infested with bugs because some have broken windows that don't fully close, the breakfast (though free) is pretty bad, and most things in the room (plugs, lamps, dryers, refrigerator) don't work. This place has progressively gotten worse over the years, and I will not stay here again. Be safe on the road...

Where do I start?Room was guaranteed to be ready at 4pm.Upon arrival at 5pm our room was still occupied.Was offered a room to change clothes in because we had a 7pm appointment.Room was ready after 6.Filthy would be an understatement.All the dishes were left dirty,food on the floor,busted tile in the bathroom,one toilet would not flush,we had to call at 2am because the air wouldn't work,mildew in the shower,ashes on the furniture,garbage in the trash cans,rotten fruit in our fruit basket,hateful staff,when asked a staff members name he says,"James,James H. is all you need to know."When asked to see a manager, he was nowhere to be found,no ID was checked upon check in,I could have been 17 for all they knew,we were charged $1061 for a $229 room,messed up checking account,upon calling hotel "James H." says "uh huh what do you want me to do?I can't help you, no one here can."Manager was out of the office,called back Monday only to get an "oh dear" from the accountant,deposited $835 back into our account only to take back out $267 last night,manager refuses to take our phone calls,no one at Radisson Customer Support can help,they refer us to manager who avoids our calls.A nightmare experience to say the least.We have never been through something like this before and have ALWAYS used Radissons.Not anymore!

We loved the service, even during a busy time we were checked in pretty quickly. Our room was super clean and the bed...well that was awesome. Sleep # beds are the way to go. We just dialed in the right number that made us feel comfortable and all the aches in my back were gone! This is the first night in a long time that I've slept so soundly in a hotel. There is no doubt that this is the most beautiful hotel in town. Certainly not the biggest..but you get great personal attention. The maid got to know us by name and the manager took great care of us. We stayed a long time so the suite rooms, fride, microwave and gym came in very handy.

This is the coolest looking hotel in Huntsville. It is very elegant and the service is great. Had to stay for an extended period of time and the management took great care of our family. Great location that's close to movie theater (stadium seating) shopping, awesome Mexican restaurant (Rosie's),and the sleep number beds are the most comfortable in town. I used to stay at the Marriott but now I always stay at the Radisson. Can't recomend it enough!
