Alladin Hotel, New York

my wife and I stayed there in october,1998 . We thought an weird place to stay . Shared unisex bathrooms, guys n' girls that pass all night at the "balade" and return to the hotel at 8 o'clock to sleep. Old bedroom , old and dark hall , old and dirty lift , workers that was overhalling the facade passing all the time , bad service , I asked for a taxi when we checked out and the concierge could't found one and we had to walk till the 8th to pick one at five ' half in the morning .Very expensive compared with the amenities that it offers. We won´t return there anymore.

Stayed at the Aladdin in 2000. It was terrifying. I only recommend it for people used to living in homeless shelters. I would have felt safer sleeping in the port authority bus station.
