Stayed for two nights. First the guy quoted us a price of 99$ one day then when we called back to book, he said it would cost a 120$ This place is not worth a 100$ When we drove up, the first thing I notice was the christmas wreath and christmas lights still up, it was August! The grass was not cut and the pool was filthy. It looked like they were doing some kind of construction, with ladders, boxes, and tools all over the front half of the place. After traveling all over Saranace Lake and Lake Placid and getting to look at all the other hotels and inns, this place looked the worse. The Good thing was the room was large and very clean. The towels were soft and smelled wonderful. I hope that whoever cleans these rooms gets paid good. They do a great job. The bathroom door would not shut all the way and be aware that the water will turn ice cold one second and then scaulding hot the next. There is a sale sign in front of the motel, so if anyone is interested and is up to a lot of hard work fixing up this place, please do us all a favor and buy. The old guy who runs the place was not pleasant and looked tired, you may be able to get the place cheap.
