AWFUL

One word will be enough: SUCKS From the bellboy to the manager of the hotel. This hotel is the bottom scrap of Vegas Hotels. Stay as far away as possible.

Binion's was the worst casino ever..
By ROADPLAYER, 04/07/09
From Mark the bellman to Marcus the manager, this was the worst vacation of our life. As soon as we Valet parked, the bellman asked us to help with the bags due his bad back. When we got to our room, we got two double beds instead of one king size. The bellmen told us to call the front desk and they said sorry, we have no other rooms. during the call the bellman laid down on on the beds and continued to complain about his back. This went on for five minutes. The room was dirty and missing many items. Our next experience involve the casino and it's many slow, rude employees. It was Saturday night and every casino had about 40-50 people waiting for dinner. We went back to Binions Coffee Shop and there was no line. We found out why = the service was the worst ever. We waited for five minutes before the manager even acknowledged our presence. I had to go tell her that we would take the open booth I saw. She ignored me and hollered that we need to get back in line and she could only serve one person at a time. By that time four more people had come in behind us. After 10 minutes we finally got seated and the waiter passed by and said " I'll be with you in a few minutes" the other four were seated and guess what, he took their order first because everyone know four peole are likely to tip mote that two.We complained and no one did anything. We ended up filling out a report about and on one did anything. At checkout we explained our problems to the Hotel manager and he offered us a breakfast at the same coffee shop we had all the problems at. ( Why would we want that?) He also offered us an upgrade next time we stayed there. again, why would we want to subject our self to such an ordeal again. One more thing, the Fremont Street Experience was so loud in our 10th floor room, it was impossible to sleep till it was over at midnight. We called the desk to change rooms but got the same excuse as with the wrong beds. to top it off some drunks were fighting and cursing in the hallway around 12:30 pm. they aslo were slamming doors. This is not a good place to stay...

Great Time and Location
By Charlotte, 03/22/09
We recently stayed at Binion's in Las Vegas. Had a great time and the employees were very courteous and friendly. They comp'd 3 nights and the next 3 nights were at $19 a night. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Security in the downtown area is spectacular, felt very safe all hours of day and night. This was our 12th year in the downtown area and 1st time at Binions. We take one day and go down on the strip. But it isn't the same. The strip has some beautiful casinos, but the employees don't seem as friendly as the downtown area. Look forward to many more years of entertainment and excitement.

NEVER AGAIN!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/08
This place is dirty and old!!! Our room had cig burns in the sheets and bedspread!! The filth in the bathroom was beyond belief. The funiture was old and broken handles on the dressers and nightstands. Widows have not been cleaned in years as we were on the 15th floor and could hardly see past the filth. We were very disapointed in the whole place. We will never stay on freemont street again. Pay the little bit extra and stay on the strip!!!

Beware!
By Rob, 11/13/08
I had a confirmed reservation through Orbitz for two rooms with two double beds or one king bed in each room Nov 2008. I got two rooms with one double bed each. When I inquired at the front desk about changing my room to what was confirmed I was told that Binion's is not obligated to agreements made through their online partners. They told me that if I wanted to complain that I would need to complain to the company that made the reservations. They told me that they would meet the stipulations of the Orbitz by bringing by two rollaway beds. I was told by the front counter that the entire hotel was sold out and there was no possibility to change rooms. The drapes were grey from lack of cleaning. There was a wiring mess next to the TV. There were poorly mended holes in the carpet and wallpaper. In the hallways there were black smudges on the ceiling near the vents. There were holes in doors that were not in use. I couldn't tell if anyone had cleaned in a long time. There was no ice machine in the tower that we stayed in. I went over to the other tower and found that there was an ice machine on every floor. The Freemont Experience was nice if you are outside on the street. From inside our room it sounded like we had an adjoining room onto a disco. It only went on until around midnight. I would not stay at Binion's ever again. I would not recommend to anyone to ever stay at Binion's. If you don't heed the advice on this review I hope you got and excellent deal.

Steakhouse is awful
By KATHY, 10/21/08
The only thing Binion's steakhouse had going for it was a nice view and a 2 for 1 coupon. Still the low quality food came with a high price. I don't mind paying a premium for a nice steak dinner, but food was well below par. The steaks were mediocre at best. The sides were horrible. I ordered a twice baked potato that I suspect was frozen rather than freshly prepared. Don't waste your money!

Old hotel
By Patrick, 09/24/08
After an expensive taxi ride from McCarran airport, we got to Binions. We wanted to stay downtown, we usually stay on the strip. This hotel is old and needs a total remodel. The room we stayed in was from the 1970's. Duct tape on the floor from the bathroom. Lumpy beds, lumpy carpet. Couldn't get a no smoking room when we checked in. Will not stay here again

I wanna go back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/14/08
There is one section that is not as clean feeling. But the second night we ended up in the new part, and were there the remaining 4 nights. Location Location Location...it is the BEST. The nicest waitresses in the breakfast restaurant too. And don't forget the bellman...errr, was it Willie? He was the greatest!
