Never more disappointed
I stayed here on the recommendation of a co-worker as a weekend getaway. Needless to say I was wary about staying here when I called and made my reservation and the gentleman answering the phone was no gentleman at all. He was rude and condescending and talked to me like I didn't know anything of what I wanted. Going on the urge of my co-worker I made the reservation anyways. I have never been more disappointed with what I have paid for on a trip in my life. The man who set up my reservation was still very rude and the rooms looked like something out of my daughters dollhouse. They were drafty and the beds stiff with little pillow support. I spoke with Carolyn the owner about my discomfort and there was nothing offered to better my stay. It was nice to know that I would have a breakfast after my rough nights sleep in the morning. However there was nothing special about the breakfast either. I will definately express my displeasure here and with my coworker on their recommendation. I am not one to complain much about something but for my wife and I our weekend getaway was nothing of the sort. A night at home would have been much more welcoming and comfortable than anytime here.
