Dirtiest Hotel In Nashville
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/29/11
I stayed at this property in November with a business partner who booked the rooms and to say it was a bad stay would be an understatement. The rooms all had a layer of dust in them and the carpet in the hallways were very stained. I stayed here in May and my room looked perfect! What happened!! When I approached the Manager regarding the issues he was very short and condescending to me. Trust me there are better options downtown!

Not Happy
By Annie, 6/1/11
The room was small, there was no vent in the bathroom, the curtains could not be closed to block out the street lights and it was over priced. The TV channels were not HD (still analog) very few selections and when you wanted to watch a regular program there was a charge of $2.99 for the 30 minute shows for children and $4.99 for the hour episodes such as Castle, Law & Order, etc.

Great Hotel *****
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/6/10
Best service I have ever received, Great price, They let us check in early and have a warm breakfast ( they have a wonderful breakfast daily ) They provided transportation FREE... They called cabs when we wanted to venture to destinations farther than their 2-3 mile radius. They where always helpful. The rooms where clean. Good location about 2 blocks from downtown. I will stay here again when I visit Nashville. Can't say enough nice things about this hotel. Best value for the price !!

Will never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/21/10
The rooms were dirty. Our airconditioner didnt work so the maid came in and said they never clean the coils and filter and begun to scrub the coils and outer unit with a toilet bowl brush with us in the room. Dust went everywhere. The pool was so small that there was no room to get in. (100 degrees and no pool)... Hot inside hotel - this was june 2010. Even the elevators kept shutting on your arms. Ick!! This is a one star rating motel.

Just fine
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/19/09
There's nothing wrong with this hotel. The staff was fine and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It is a perfect location for going down town for the night. The parking is a little tight, but so are all parking garages.

Beware of additional fees and taxes
By Ayana, 3/23/09
When we made reservations we requested the military rate and were told the military rate was actually more expensive then the regular rate which was $139 for the night. Once we checked out we were actually charged $177.70. When asked why we were charged more, we were told that the price we were quoted did not include taxes and occupation fees. To make matters worse in order to reserve the room they put a hold of almost $200 on my checking account. Our stay was pleasant enough, but the fact that we could not use all of the amenities and that the hotel was going through renovations which were not mentioned neither on the website nor when we checked-in was and definite disappointment consider the amount we paid for the room.

This was an okay experience
By Michael, 2/17/08
First of all the parking graege is tight, adn you can hardly manivure around in it. After you get in the hotel it is nice. The breakfast was wonderful. However, I stayed in a suite, and there was not a remote for the TV in either room of the suite. So I tried to call the front desk three different time, and no one answered. Finally I had to go down to the lobby and ask for one. The location of the hotel is great if you want to be within walking distance of all the downtown entertainment. Overall, I would say that I enjoyed my stay, but there were a few things the hotel could work on.

Right features to be an excellent hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/07
On the plus side: perfect location, online computers for the guests free of charge in the lobby, complimentary shuttle, continental breakfast, comfortable and good quality bedding and towels -- in other words, the hotel has all the right features to be excellent. Unfortunately, regarding the staff it seems that the very polite, friendly and ever-smiling personnel is not of too much help. The shuttle was not in service half of the working time (7 - 11.45 am and 6 - 10.45 pm). First time when happened to ask for the shuttle and it was not available, the receptionist sent us a private car explaining that we have not to worry as they always use that car/driver when there is a problem with the shuttle. Well, we didn’t worry but we were unpleasantly surprised when the driver asked us to pay the course at the end of the ride. Indeed the continental breakfast was very nice but you could get some fruits only within the last half-hour the breakfast was served (when most of the guests were already gone). The front desk….I was lucky checking in since my roommate arrived a day before me. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about checking out. This was a nightmare. Despite the fact that we made it crystal clear from the beginning that we are going to split the cost of the room and pay with 2 credit cards, only one card was charged and it was impossible to have the bill sorted out until Monday morning. It seamed that only the accountant was professionally prepared to solve the issue. Eventually, one week later, the bill was split and the cards charged correctly, but the accountant forgot to put in the frequent flyer number. Two weeks ago I called her and I was assured that in the following hour she will take care of this and will mail the receipts (without receipts we cannot request the miles). I’m still waiting. On the other hand, forgetting in the room the cable of my laptop I called the housekeeping and got it the next day!

Love the beds
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/20/07
I loved your beds and pillows. They were the most comfortable that I had ever slept in before at a hotel. I thought that the bedding was really some of the nicest I have ever seen in a hotel too.
