Staff friendly, rooms clean & spacious. Continental breakfast great. Nothing to dislike.

During a recent stay at the Charlotte Embassy Suites while traveling home for Christmas, I was charged a smoking fee of $250, which is absolutely ludicrous since I do NOT smoke! I am a performing artist who values my voice way too much to ruin it with smoking and I do NOT appreciate the manner in which the manager (Denise) treated me when I called to rectify this matter. She insinuated that I am a liar, was not helpful in the least and severely insulted my intelligence repeatedly until I was so angry that I hung up. Needless to say, I am completely outraged and will NEVER under any circumstances stay at an Embassy Suites again. Not only that, my father is a Platinum Hilton member who travels constantly and he indicated that he will be switching to Marriott if these charges are not reversed (he will be in contact once the holiday has passed). Thirdly, I am telling all my friends and loved ones to boycott any hotel/motel owned under the Hilton brand. Further, I am disputing the fee with my credit card company and will be contacting my attorney to pursue fraud charges. Finally, I have decided to write several negative reviews of the Hilton organization and the Charlotte Embassy Suites in particular. In closing, I don't think words can properly express the level of utter disappointment and dismay that this situation has brought upon my holiday. This is no way to treat an innocent and travel-weary person, especially during this special time of the year. I recommend anybody to steer way clear of the Charlotte Embassy Suites, unless they enjoy finding surprise charges racked up on their credit cards.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff was friendly and very courteous. The breakfast experience was a hundred percent excellent. Service with a smile.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Embassy Suites in Charlotte NC. I found that the rooms were very clean, I was surprised to see flat screen tv in the living and bedroom. The service was excellent,however I have one major suggestion: front desk staff and the managers bar staff,should smile often and greet guests more!!! Front staff is the first impression of the hotel, and if that is not above perfect no need to stay!!!! I will say this the best greetings for me and my boyfriend, were the housekeeping staff and the morning breakfast staff!!! You guys were great, and because of you we will continue to stay at the Embassy Suites on S Tyron!!!!

Hotel was nice but housekeeping on the other hand needs better guidance. Stayed as family of four:2 adults 2 kids The short time we stayed in our room, not much entertainment for the kids. Kids brought game system but hotel blocked tv so you couldnt connect it. Tried to use our laptop hotel wanted to charge $10 daily for 24hr usage. Please check credit card charges for "incidental fees". We were charged $50 in case damages were done to the room. Housekeeping rude. We stayed 4days/3nights- room wasnt cleaned til almost 8pm and next night soiled bathtowels left in shower and on top of all that jewelry stolen. Hotel was great, front desk very pleasant, great breakfast, complimentary drinks in the evening just need to get that housekeeping together. Otherwise negative reviews like this will affect them.

Very clean beautiful hotel. They service was immaculate and the food was good too! The price is fantastic! I will stay here whenever I visit Charlotte!!

This is easily my favorite hotel. The free breakfast with the made to order eggs, french toast, waffles, and pancakes....YUM. Free happy hour and snacks is kinda great as well. The only negative is the lack of television channels. Oh, and when they lost my reservation, they put me up in the nearest Marriott for free. And I was still permitted to come back to the Embassy for the free breakfast.

Very nice hotel, clean, nice rooms, great breakfast and good steak house inside the hotel. I'll have to go back to Charlotte and will stop here for sure.
