Can't pay me to stay again!
By Samantha, 11/29/09
Disgusting is the word to describe. Website is very decieving and those photos must be touched up because our rom had peeling/bubbling paint, deteriorated reflection on mirrors, half painted door stoppers, burned out electrcal outlets, nasty bathroom caulking, separated doors, the list goes on. Even the elevators were gross. The pic of the lobby is wayyyy off on this site and the lense is flattering because everything is small. Our room set up wasn't even like the site and the internet was horrible. Crappy transportation times and busses (one was sideswiped and missing a window!) and the concierge called a towncar instead of a taxi and pocketed some of the money. The breakfast was decent. Gourmet coffee bar is a small coffee carafe with cream and sugar. Front desk staff was nice. I'd rather stay at the motel 6 down the road!

This is the place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/29/09
Everything advertised on there web site was right on. A beautiful facility, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The friendly staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and to satisfy our wants and needs. We had plenty of room and privacy in a 2 bedroom suite with 5 adults. Our 4 nights stay was very reasonably priced, the breakfast in the morning was great. The pool was of good size, the bar close by as were fresh bathing towels. Dining and shopping opportunities are plentiful in the nearby area, some within walking distance, others a very short drive. We would definitly recommend this facility to everyone and will stay here on our next visit to Orlando.

Great place
By IrisA, 04/29/09
I enjoyed staying at the Royale Parc. My husband and I wanted a private place with house like amenities. The rooms were very comfortable. The bed was great. The service was very good, though I enjoyed much more the service at Seralago. I would stay again. I was very pleased.

Comfortable
By KIM, 07/26/08
I had a party of 4, including 6 yr old girl. Two bdrm had plenty of space, not ontop of each other. Housekeeping did a good job, even put dishes into dishwasher and ran it. Good location for theme parks and family style restaurants. (Denny/IHOP) Breakfast buffet should be improved. They shut it down at 10am and not enough seating. Toasters are old and take some time to brown the items. The a/c in the rooms are VERY noisey. Although the bdrms are at the back, you can hear noise from the front walks. Our bdrm looked over the laundry, gave early morning wakeup. Pool was nice, hot tub too hot. All in all we enjoyed our trip and would go back. Daughter forgot an item, lets see if they send it back upon request.

Definitely would stay again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/08
I was surprised to see bad reviews, our family thought it was a nice place. The rooms were clean and spacious as well as nicely decorated. The air worked well and we had lots of channels on tv but who really watches tv while on vacation?! Our beds were cozy and the landscaping around pool was very nice. Yes the breakfast is the same each day for the most part but it was good. The location is very close to all the parks. There is a reasonably priced gift shop in front which we enjoyed a couple of times! The only thing bad I could say is their little shop, which had a lil bit of everything, had no prices on items. I hope to return next year. I would say give it a try, dont let the bad reviews scare you away. Maybe my expectations are not high enough or perhaps others are too high!Enjoy wherever you may go.

Good Value Great Location
By Sir Frederick, 05/15/08
The Royal Parc Suites overall was a good place to stay. The suites were clean, fresh towels were delivered every day, and the bathroom was clean which made our stay very pleasant. Room service cleaned every day and also washed the occasional dish, that was left, out which was very much appreciated. The beds were comfy with excellent pillows ( I almost took one home…) and the A/C worked wonderfully! If your purpose for staying at the Royal Parc Suites is to visit Disney World than the location is great. It is only 5 minutes from DW and within walking distance to many eating establishments (mostly low priced buffets). We were never awake early enough to visit the breakfast bar nor did we ever get down to the restaurant so I have no opinion on either. The only issues we had during our stay was one evening our toilet became plugged, but one call to the front desk and help was there in under 3 minutes. Also, the size of the room was great, but the bathroom was pretty small. It was a tight fit for 2 adults to be in the bathroom at the same time and me and my wife are not big people. Not a big deal, but just so you know. Unfortunately, the walls were pretty thin. There were a few occasions we could hear our neighbors “enjoying” their vacation which became quite old and it was easy to hear children running around upstairs (we were on the 4th floor). Not major issues but there it is. Besides that, it was a great place. Lastly, if you are looking for a Resort environment, you may be disappointed. The open courtyard is cool, it has a bar, playground, pool and hot tub. It does gives the place a nice feel, but in the end you still know that you are at a hotel. Overall is a good place to stay and I think you get a lot for your money. If you could afford more and expect a lot, you should stay at a resort but if you just want a place to rest your head after a long day than this is the perfect place for you.

Nice Place To Stay For a Short Visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/26/06
We stayed one night at the Quality Suites - Maingate in June 2006. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were a little out dated but overall were nice. We loved the pool area and the poolside bar. The free drinks that were served during happy hour were great. It is walking distance to Old Town which had a lot of fun stuff for the kids to do. We did not use the Disney World ticket service or shuttle as we stayed in a vacation home for the rest of our nine day vacation. Although I don't know if I would want to plan my whole vacation at this hotel based on the value you get from a vacation home verses a hotel, it was an overall nice experience.

Pleasurable, but
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/06
As to location, you are within 5 miles of Disney, easy to get to and from the parks. Airport is about 20 miles. There is public transport Bus # 56 to the parks, but you have to walk about 1/2 mile to bus stop for 1.50 (not bad) They did have a charter bus to parks for 7:30 AM & 9:45 AM pickup, this was the 1st pickup and 1st return stop (of 4 hotels) when traveling to the parks. There are restaurants across the street along with a Publix grocery store. Room had just had some updating (and they were obviously updating still) we paid rougly 86 per night up to 118 for friday night, not bad for a suite that we slept. I would return, but just remember OLDER hotel.

Location OK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/25/06
The location is OK very close to the theme parks but the hotel it self is soso. The hall ways and elevators are extreme dirty and no one seems to care. The rooms are spacious but reasonable clean. The house keeping is very annoying and trying to get in the room al the time for cleaing, after complaining they started to call by phone every morning at 9.00 and hangup. Pool bar is great a very nice staff, also free drinks from 5.00/7.00 PM.

Lack of Information
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/27/06
We were not told that we had to pay a daily rate for a safe that we did not use, or ask to use.... upon checkout we had to pay a bill for our 7 day stay... also, the rooms were not cleaned that well... would not stay there again...did not like the idea of the ticket sellers for Disney in the hotel, which we bought into and were told it would be a 90 minute session...it turned into 3 hours... upon leaving the Inn until we were returned, 5 hours of our day was gone... very disappointing... but, as the old saying goes, " experience is bought not taught."
