Quiet, elegant and unique place to stay
By Janice, 03/29/08
My husband and I stayed here for five nights in March and absolutely loved it. The staff greeted you every time you passed and were always pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean and decorated beautifully. The beds were extremely comfortable and ice was brought to your room every afternoon and as requested. The food at Jonathon's was delicious and they delivered to my room a couple of days I was sick in bed. We will definately stay here again when in Lexington. The location is great and there are a lot of places to eat, nightspots and shopping within walking distance.

Gratz Park in October
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/07
Newly redone the hotel was wonderful. It was warm and hospitable with a great staff. Great southern charm and close to many attractions. Not really a hotel for children but great for couples or business travelers. Great highspeed wireless internet. The food was excellent at Jonathan. Service was excellent. The room was well apointed and beds were great.

Excellent - First class Inn!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/07
Zedtta Williams is a first class Inn Keeper along with the very friendly staff. Our lunch by Chef Jonathan was scrumptious. The decor is beautiful and makes an impression. We had a group of 15 that not only stayed at Gratz Park Inn but also held our meetings in the high tech conference room. All of our expectations were met plus some. I look forward to returning in the future and recommend to anyone going to Lexington.

About 87% great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/26/06
A beautiful hotel in a terrific historic location, elegantly decorated and furnished, squeaky clean and inviting. But they unapologetically couldn't give me the nonsmoking room I requested. Our suite had a torn up lamp shade, a couple of burned out and missing light bulbs, and there was chipped paint and plaster on the corners of walls and doorways where they'd been repeatedly hit by suitcases and luggage carts and never repaired. I wouldn't say it was a bad stay at all. Just a tiny bit disappointing. This hotel has greatness within its grasp, and for some reason it stops just short of achieving it.

Loved those mattresses!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/22/05
The Inn is adorable...we loved the room which overlooked the garden and the staff was very helpful with directions and tips on where to eat and what. Their resturant was sooo good...we just had brunch there..but it was excellent and the beds!! You just have to sleep on those mattresses and you will have to have one!! soooo confortable... We will stay there again when we are in Lexington..
