Very Nice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/09
Near excellent Buckhead restaurants. This Hilton is newly remodeled, clean, and crisp. Staff polite and efficient. I'd give it 4 hotel stars any day. Not a 5 star Hilton, but then it doesn't have a 5 star price either.

Very bad experience

Dislikes was the room, elevators. The only think that was nice was the service for breakfast and the staff that worked on Sunday morning

You are so GREAT!
By angel s, 03/31/09
I can not thank you enough for all you did for me during my 5 day stay. My daughter was having brain surgery. I can't walk well. You made everything perfect for my stay. I was an emotional wreck and exhausted and it was like coming home and having someone take care of me. It was the perfect place to stay at the perfect time. Many thanks to all of your staff. They went way above the norm to help me during a very difficult time. SGraham

Great hotel, would stay again
By yella_girl, 01/31/08
Great service! We lost our directions we printed before coming to Atlanta and the hotel staff searched our destinations on the internet and printed them out for us. Big help! They also have a business center that has internet.

Not what we expected
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/12/07
We had the choice between this hotel and another nearby hotel for the "price". I wish we had picked the other hotel. Number 1, we had a view of a dirty, abandoned, graffiti filled parking lot. Two, they hold events in the lobby, which happened to be a family reuinion, and there were children running all over the place and you could here it from the room. Three, they charged us $19.90 each for internet access on our two laptops, and the internet service was not good. We were also told that the fee would be waived for one of them, though our bill did not reflect that. When we called them about it, we were told "that's not true, do you know who told you that?", as if we'd made it up. And finally, parking is $16/day for a dark, dirty parking lot which you'll have to drive around and around in hopes to finally find an empty, narrow parking space. I will NEVER stay her again!!

nasty customer service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/04/07
Booked a room online with best available rate subject to change. When wanting to change the reservation then they changed the price from 134 dollars to 189 per night. Very rude staff including the surpervisor

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/21/07
TOo Noisy, road traffic. Loud construction, pool out of order. Sheets have fuzzy balls and feel itchy. Went there for business travel. Could not concentrate or rest b/c of loud road noise. Brought kids and nanny, they were disappointed the pool did not work. decent hotel but

Nerveracking!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/06
The whole experience was awful. When we checked in there were police and SWAT team members going up and down elevators. When we got to our room we called the front desk to ask what was going on. They told us that the BET awards were going on and they had celebraties staying on the 16th floor at the hotel. So we lightened up about the police being there, and went out to look over at the atrium area. We were on the ninth floor so we had a fairly decent veiw of it. We were very curoius and wanted to know what celebraties were there. So, we were also looking up at the 16th floor. About that time, we saw a person squating down in a corner by a coke machine. AT first we thought the person was holding an umbrella, but then we realized that they were holding a gun. A huge gun. Then, we saw the person stand up and fire the gun into an area where the rooms would be at. We heard the gun fire, saw the fire come out of it, and smelt the sulpher. We were terrified. All three of is dashed back to the room as fast as possible. Then we called the front desk back to see if they knew what was going on, and to see why they lied to us. The front desk told us that there was no shooting, that it was a sledge hammer. They were arguing with us. We told them they we were eye witnesses. We got on the phone with the manager, and he finally admitted that it was a gun that the SWAT team had fired. We weer furoius. They had lied to us three times. That night we stayed in the room and did not open the door. We were the only people who knew about the robbers being held up there, or the SWAT team having to shoot at them. Then, at about 11:00 an alarm went off. It said some thing like "Everyone get back to your room, there is a fire." At that point our nervs were shot. We were mad and terrified at the same time. We called the front desk yet again and we asked to speak to the manager. He told us that it was just a fire alarm that had been pulled, then he told us another story. He said that too many people had been smoking on the elevator and the alarm had gone off. So, we still didn't know what to believe. No one slept that night. We were terrified. That morning we got out of that hotel as fast as possible. The next day we found an article on the internet where a police officer was telling the whole story.

The hotel was beautiful! It was in the perfect spot and the ponds with the koi fish in the middle were so nice to come and look at while you enjoyed the open bar!!!

Bring your wallet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/06
The staff is very friendly, but not the best at giving directions to get around in ATL. The lobby is scenic, the breakfast is good tasting and a great value. The down sides: The refrigarator in the room does not stay very cold. If you are driving to park at the hotel is 14.00 a day or $17.00 for valet, (on top of tipping the valets coming and going). There is a cost to use the internet, tipping is expected to the "complimentary" shuttle service, a cost for the washer and dryer, all call out(local also),and to order in room movies are over priced at $20 per movie. Bring plenty of small bills for unexpected out of pocket expenses.
