Best location for Yellowstone
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/12/09
This place is a great place to stay for access to Yellowstone! It was very full and the parking lot was packed. The hot apple cider at breakfast was a nice treat! We were walking distance to a nice variety of dinner choices.

Would go back over and over!
By erica, 7/28/09
This hotel was wonderful. We stayed in the family suite which had the three queen size beds and the pull out sofa bed, and the full kitchen. The room was very clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful and had no problem replacing used towels and other items that we needed. The breakfast was simple with muffins, toast, bagels, hot and cold cereal, coffe, coacoa and juices, but was very filling. We also enjoyed meeting other families and sharing stories about what we had seen in Yellowstone while eating breakfast. If any of the food items were running low or out, the staff was eager to refill and make sure everyone was taken care of. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with tips on eating establishments and attractions. Gardiner itself is a wonderful town and everyone we met were friendly and eager to make sure that we enjoyed our time in and around the park. We look forward to coming back and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Outstanding Accomodations
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/18/07
We rented the large suite, unseen, via cel phone while traveling with five grandkids. The suite had three comfortable queen-size beds and a sleeper sofa, two baths and a full kitchen with dishes. It was clean, the heated indoor pool was great for the grandkids, the continental breakfast was fresh and served in an area with tables and chairs and the rate was extremely reasonable for the accomodations provided. Words of advice...If you plan to leave Yellowstone by the South Entrance, don't expect to find accomodations in Rock Springs, Wyoming, unless you have a reservation!

Good deal
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/6/05
For as small as Gardiner is, the Super 8 was comfortable and very accomodating. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and all of our needs were met. Having stayed at 3 of the gateway towns to Yellowstone, Gardiner seems to be the least expensive, by far. It is right across the street from a store which made it easy for us to pick up things we needed or had forgotten. Gardiner provided the closest location outside of the park to be convenient for our horseback ride scheduled inside the park. We also saw a rafting company right in Gardiner. Gardiner has a variety of gift shops and restaurants and has a the genuine feel of a small western town.
