Hotel De Petris, Rome

This hotel is in a great location, a couple minutes walk away from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. It is also steps away from the metro line 'A' stop 'Barberini'. Best of all each room has air conditioning. We stumbled upon this place by accident desperate for AC during last summer's heat wave. We walked in and for a last minute double room in July they charged us 100 euros. The concierge was very helpful directing us and reserving a private car to take us back to the airport - much cheaper than a taxi. I believe it is a 3 star hotel. The cheaper room was a little small but how much time do you spend in your room anyway?! Because of this central location we walked to every site in Rome.
