Amazing staff

Just spent an amazing 2 weeks at Totem Pole resort. Peter, Michelle and Dave were great. (Pizza night, spaghetti night along with kareoke made for a very memorable time). I would like to thank them and the resort proprietor's as well for operating such a delightful resort. I highly recommend any family to visit and create great memories. Thanks again!

Good news, New Management, Yahoo

Our family stayed at this resort years ago and it was wonderful, however the friends that I did refere, said the management was very difficult to deal with. Now there is new management and we look forward to returning for a family reunion. This is a beautiful resort with great cabins and lots to do in the immediate area such as boating, swimming, hikes to Margerate Falls, biking, morning jogs along the road, tennis at the tennis court, and ending your day with a camp fire and smors.

Caretakers with poor attitudes are gone

All is good at Totem Pole Resort now; the previous posts about the experiences with the caretakers, in particular the female one, are all resolved. These caretakers are no longer at Totem Pole Resort. Check it out now!! Peter and Michelle would love to see you.

Totem Pole Resort & Marina Cathy refund ...The renters money was refunded in May/09 - however they changed their credit card to a chip and the refund didn't go through... they have been fully refunded Nattalia

Renters Beware

The cabin was beautiful, the view picturesque, the lake breathtaking, but it was all spoiled by the caretakers attitude. They have difficulties dealing with the public in a respectable manner.

Great for singles

I thought it was going to be all families, but I met quite a few singles looking to have a good time. Every night ended by drinking a few beers with people I didn't know the day before.

Love it!!

My family and I launch our boat at this resort a few times every spring, summer, and fall. The managers of this resort are very accomidating and friendly. I highly recommend this resort and it must be popular because it is always very busy!! Thanks

Poor

Even though the Salmon arm area is a beautiful place to visit.. I would definetly not advise visitiors to stay at the Totem Pole Resort. My reasons are: Mainly that the female manager who took care of the resort was very difficult to deal with.. She was not very accomodating and very obnoxious. She didn't make our family feel very welcome to the area and I was very dissatisfied with the service.. Another complaint that I had with the resort that it was really musty smelling and had droppings from an animal (Squirell or rodent) on the linens.
