RAM SEA - HOME AWAY FROM HOME
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/18/10
We've been staying at the Ram Sea since 1990. It has become a perennial favorite with the Gribb Family over the years. The views of the Gulf from the balconies are fantastic especially the sunsets. And yes, while some of the units lack some basic interior design skills, the rooms and amenities have always been clean and comfortable. You have to remember, you're there for the sun and fun! If you do have any needs, Evie and the staff have always been very helpful and accommodating. The resort has a really nice pool area that's kept very clean and it's literally 2 steps from the beach. Also a nice area for cooking out with grills provided. There's a great fishing pier for the kids that's a very short walk down the beach. Plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby and you're only about 20 minutes away from Clearwater, Tampa and St. Pete. You can't beat the value either. We've stayed in comparable places in other parts of Florida and always find ourselves comparing them to the Ram Sea. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed. We'll be there again in May and we're bringing new family members so they can start their own tradition.

Ram Sea II Unit 613 is exemplary!
By TechWriter2B, 10/28/09
In October 2009, we had six people stay in Unit 613 at Ram Sea II. It was an incredible visit, and I encourage others to seek out the Ram Sea II. We traveled with my two small children and their grandparents. The unit was large enough to provide enough space for everyone -- no one felt cramped or uncomfortable. The unit was decorated wonderfully and the newly-designed kitchen was outstanding. The beds were comfortable and the linens were great -- we had no complaints about the amenities offered. Best of all is the view of the Gulf from the unit. It is breath-taking! On behalf of my family, I highly recommend this particular unit at the Ram Sea II. Remember, the condominiums are owned by different individuals, so be certain to perform lots of research before committing to rent any unit. If you are seeking a wonderful experience in North Redington Beach, search no further than Ram Sea II Unit 613. Check-out the Vacation Rentals Web site and search listing number 15045.

Bring your own sheets
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/08
The sheets were threadbare. The furniture was so old that there was no stuffing. There was NO air condition. Nothing in the kitchen. Headed to the pool only to find 50 kids, their parents, and worst of all 3 babies in diapers. Awful Experience. However our 6th floor view was nice in the evening.

Loved It, can't wait to go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/31/08
My husband & I were invited to a wedding at the beach. While the entire bridal party and their families stayed next door @ the Doubletree, I explored other options and came across Ram Sea. Not only were the accommodations exceptional, roomy and the staff friendly and available for all my questions, we actually saved about $300 from the others by staying here rather in the motel with the others. I can't wait to return again this year!

Worth the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/08/07
The decor is Old Florida tacky, the beds are bumpy and stiff, the towels are cheap and feel like sandpaper, and the running water is full of sulpher. But lets face it, the one thing we come to see in Florida is that big blue expanse of H2O called the Gulf, and it is an eyefull from a Ram Sea II room. This place is affordable and begins to feel like home within a day. One disclaimer, if you are spoiled you might want to shell out the money for the cookie-cut big names.

been several times
By THOMAS, 06/13/05
We have been to ram sea several times. we have ahd a few with us or several. the condos are always clean and very spacious. no matter what room we get we have not had a bad experience. the view is fantastic from every room. There are plenty of retraunts down the beach to choose from with great food and entertainment but they'rre far enough down to not get lost in tourism. We always recommend the place. This is the place where my son proposed to my daughter in law and the last place my dad went with us on vacation. A lot of memories there!!!!
