Not a family hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/9/08
Traveling with a large group, over 100 people. At least half the rooms had problems. Dirty sheets in the hallway at 8:00 pm. In my room, air conditioning didn't work, toilets didn't flush properly. In other rooms, bugs, dirty sheets, numerous issues. The lobby had a dirty smell. Parking lot was not well lit. When we refused to stay that night, they refused to refund that nights money. We still did not stay. Very poor service and a rent by the hour appearance. I do not want my family or friends staying in this type motel. The pictures on their website do not look like this location.

Recently Remodeled
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/18/06
This property has been remodelled in Feb 2006 and I stayed there for the week of March 12th - 17th, 2006. I spent many, many years in the hotel business and I could not find fault with anything. Staff very helpful and friendly, rooms spotless, nice quiet place with easy access to most of Northern Va and DC. Rooms are gorgeous, mine had a microfridge and microwave which made a long term stay there very comfortable. Keep in mind the other reviews are before the remodel and give it a chance, I highly recommend it and will be putting these comments on other travel sites also. I would without a doubt stay there again.

No Frills
By Dawn, 11/9/05
It is what it is...a room. It's nothing fancy and the desk service often leaves a good bit to be desired. However, I travel in and out of the city frequently and often need a 'holding area'-someplace to change, rest, and relax between meetings in the area, etc. It is ideally located near the city in a great neighborhood which offers a variety of stores and eating establishments for the person who has a car and is not apprehensive about driving around town. The price is reasonable, the rooms are relatively clean, but it is definitely a self-service type of place...great for coming and going. Some of the rooms do have microwaves and refrigerators. I would not recommend this hotel for families with children as there is limited space with only cable television.

Not at all as advertised!
By Nancy, 10/3/05
When I booked this room I looked at several things: location, room rate, continental breakfast, room size, refrig, etc. Location to Washington, D.C. was great. Rate was good for the D.C. area. Room was nice size but no refrig, towels heavy odor of clorine, had to call for soap, no shampoo or shower cap furnished. Continental breakfast left lot to be desired, plain bagels and water downed orange juice. We went out and bought our own breakfast goodies. No tourist help from the front deck at all. Front desk clerks had no knowledge of the area, etc. Recommendations, book at your own risk. If a good price and no other needs is for you, OK. Otherwise, look farther into staying elsewhere. If we evry return to the D.C. area we will not be staying here.
