one of our favorite places to stay
By Jeri, 2/16/12
we like the big flat screen tv's, their willingness to provide a refrigerator for no extra charge if you need to keep medicines refrigerated, the staff always seem very hard to please the custormers and we've heard some pretty sour customers they have had to deal with. if you play on your card you can earn comps and they will send you great deals on the rooms. one of the things we especially like are their bathroooms most of the other casinos have gone into the low low toilets and if you are disabled and have knee problems or are extremely tall it is very hard to use the short short toilets.

Worse Slots in America!
By Anthony, 7/28/11
I have been playing slots at the Atlantis for over 30 years! I have seen the greed truly take over this hotel over the years! After all the millions they have won over the years, they now make sure you dont ever win anymore. Be prepared to lose about $100 per 20 minutes playing pennies! There poker machines are even worse! Beware!!! They laughable advertise the best slots in the entire United States...............dont fall for that one!

Discussed
By Krystle, 7/7/11
I hated my stay and i waited some time to write this because i was giving the hotel a chance to recover my losses but after dealing with them and being called a liar i think it is best that i warn further people who plan on staying at this hotel. I checked in on june 29th after midnight got into my room and crashed on the top of the blankets to rest. After that I was out of the room all the next day. We had little to no toilet paper and even though it was a smoke free room i later saw burn stains on the sheets but that isnt the worst that could happen. On the following night I had an issue with the hotel because i pulled the sheets down to take a nap and here was blood on the sheets. (after her investigation which took a week exactly she claims that the blood was fresh per the people who didn't do there jobs to being with that is why one sheet was burned and the other blooded) but they took there word and the day i was planning to arrive they told me that they werent going to do anything about it. The blood was dry and they even had the hotel staff look at my body to prove it wasnt me. with there inablity to make things better after saying how important this was to them i wont be back i work in customer service and i would never accuse a customer of lying after they already had a bad experience. they said the health board had been out last week and thye passed with flyingcolors i dont see how that is at all possible i say go somewhere else

Horrible Air Quality and not kid friendly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/3/11
way too smokey. we had non-smoking rooms and you could smell a strong smoke smell the whole time. The non-smoking rooms even had ashtrays in them! If you are a non-smoker, concerned about your health or have kids, don't bother with this hotel -- you will be very disappointed.

Renew the rooms please
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/9/10
Neer go back,,thought would give it a second chance, but worse than the last time I stayed,,rooms old old old,,I know I stayed there when you first opened, The Buffet is good,,but employees young and there just to socialize with other young people. My niece came back from the salon with blisters on her feet from a $110.00 pedicure and we were told her feet were too sensative,,the attendants would not get us supervisor or manager. I will stay at the PepperMill like I usually do,,just thought would give the Atlantis on more chance,,never again, now way,no how,not even for free room and board.

Worst hotel ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/1/10
This is the worst hotel I`ve been at, I stayed there in December 2009 and a soap with Kiwi Seeds provided by the hotel and left in the room by them, caused scratches on my leg and left 2 bleeding wounds of about 10 inches each, they took photos and I filed a complaint that they answered in a very mean way 2 weeks later. Right now I have two scars that are never going to heal. This was their answer: ^I do not see where Atlantis has any liability in this case. The box that the soap comes in is clearly marked "Soothing Vanilla fragranced exfoliating soap enriched with Kiwi Seeds..." You were in better control than Atlantis of the way that you used the soap and if you have a claim that the bar of soap caused you injury, that claim would be with the manufacturer of the soap and not Atlantis.¨ This hotel doesn’t care about their guests, they only care about the money you spend there. I will recommend never to stay there.

Screw this hotel
By Victor, 12/28/09
My family and I went on December 24th, 2009 and stayed there for 2 nights. When we first arrived, there weren't any shower cap, lotion, toothbrush, or toothpaste. There weren't any shower gel that we had to use the soap, and it was mold. We called the housekeeping and he told us to get it from the store in the lobby. And they called themselves a 4 star hotel... its even worse than a rural motel, because at least they provide basic necessities instead of forcing us to buy them from the super expensive store in the lobby. There is no way we are ever going to go to the hotel ever again and never recommend this hotel to our friends.

Fabulous Hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/19/09
We booked our stay directly with the hotel's 800# after viewing info (pricing, rooms, availability, etc.) on their website. We were charged $63 for Thursday night and $108 for Friday night. We arrived from Central California at 1:30 pm on Thursday of the Annual Air Race weekend. We had requested a 'quiet room' away from the elevators. Our room was ready when we arrived and we were checked-in quickly and efficiently. We booked a non-smoking, 2-queen bed room in the Tower. Our beds looked great and inviting. Each bed contained 4 regular sized pillows, two queen sized pillows, and one large bolster pillow. FINALLY a hotel that provides enough pillows. :) All personnel we encountered were professional and pleasant. Even though parking is free (whether self park or valet), all parking is outside (no parking garage or underground parking). Not necessarily a problem, just something of note. If you are not wanting to eat at the hotel, there is a McDonald's, Olive Garden, Claim Jumper, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, Arby's, Jimboy's Tacos, and Wendy's restaurants within 15 minutes walking distance (approx 1/2 mile?). Please note that this hotel (and the Peppermill nearby) are approx 4-5 miles from "the downtown hotels/casinos". We would definitely visit again.

Shame on Priceline and the Atlantis.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/09
Booked two nights at the 4 star level through Priceline for Aug 14, l5th. Bid was accepted by the Atlantis. Upon arrival was told that there would be an additional charge of $10 per day for spa use and that Priceline should have told me this in advance. My girlfriend tried to use the gym and was told that she would have to pay $7.50 additional each time. Our room was on the 4th floor of the Luxury? Tower overlooking the parking lot and the two story motel wing. The room and appointments were similar to what one would find in a newer Comfort Inn (but without the refrigerator, microwave and free breakfast). After getting home and checking the Atlantis home page I discovered that I could have walked in off the street and booked the room we had for about the same "great deal" price that I paid on Priceline thinking that I was getting a 4 star hotel experience. I feel ripped off. Priceline quoted me a total charge price that clearly states that it included taxes and service fees. The Atlantis added $10 a night. The Atlantis accepted my bid for a 4 star room and provided a 2 1/2 to 3 star room. Fool me once......Never again.
