Landmark Motor Inn, South Glens Falls

This place was bad. We noticed that the bottoms of my daughter's feet were dirty. We took a white washcloth and swiped it across the carpet just three times and it was black. When I told the front desk about this, I was assured that the carpets had "just been cleaned." I guess the washcloth had picked up some of the gritty, black cleaning fluid or it was just our imagination that time and the 3 or 4 other times we tried the washcloth trick. How they got cleaning fluid to look like mold on the bathroom ceiling, I'll never know. There were drunken morons there Friday night keeping us up til 2 am, too. The indoor pool was ok, but smelled a little musty. We didn't check out the outdoor pool. Tne Landmark certainly helped us save money, though. We were going to stay a week, but could only stand to stay 4 nights. Wish there had been other places available but they were all booked. We checked. Horrible experience!

Not bad but the Queensbury Hotel is a much better value. in door pool hot tub excellent location .down town Glens falls close to every thing Sandys Hot Shots Bull pen and dive bars. close to good food Old China Buffet in the Red Lobster / Olive Garden plaza best food ever for about $10 even better than the Golden Corral . LARAC, Farmers market, Great Escape don't matter the season the best Value ever,,,,, ps ask for Frank the maintenance supervisor for a friends & family discount tell him kyle sent you

We have family in that area so we have stayed there many times in the last 5 years and have no complaints. Clean, friendly, clean, accommodating and OH yes, very clean.

I love the Landmark Motor Inn! I make the trip once a month up to the S. Glen Area and I will go nowhere else!! The price is affordable! There is a restaurant (Fitzgerald's) right across the road that delivers, There is an indoor pool with Jacuzzi and so much more! I notice some new amenity every time I go there. I will be going up there again next weekend! I love it!!!

Really super value. We were there in October and the indoor pool and hot tub were great. Nice rooms. Clean. Would definitely stay there again.

I am 12 years old and me and my family have been going there for many many years. I have gone there for 12 years. The pool is amazing, on the first day we get there we always spend a day at the outside pool. It is really nice and the deep end is really deep. At night, my family and I always go to the indoor pool because it is night time and that pool is heated.If it is raining you can go in it anyway which is great. My Aunt Theresa also goes to the exercise room, which is in the pool area. She goes in almost every night.Me and my cousins always go to the park every day, so if you have kids you should bring them because there is a park in the hotel also. Another great thing about it is that there is a lobby where me and my cousins always go to play pool and all these other arcade games. It really is a great place for the whole family!!!! Come on and bring you kids today!!

I have stayed at the Landmark 3 times. The first time was when I came to the area looking for a home to buy. Motels/hotels were unexpectedly expensive, and the first one I stayed at had poor service and a big cleanliness problem. I was discouraged and asked a waitress for a good motel. Without missing a beat she highly recommended the Landmark. And it WAS wonderful. I stayed there my entire trip, using it as home base. The second time was when I returned to close the deal on my new home. The third time was shortly after moving to my new home in the winter. The power went out for 3 days. After 2 days I called the motel and asked if my roommate, my dog, my parrot and I could come there and wait out the power outage. They couldn't have been more accommodating, and at a reasonable price. I love the horse racing theme of the motor inn; the rooms are always clean; restaurants and reasonably-priced gas stations are near by; it is conveniently located between Lake George and Saratoga Springs near 87; the staff is friendly; the price is unusually reasonable for the area. I love it!!!

We loved everything about this place and started plans for next year before we arrived home!! We were very impressed, everything was very clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. We will recommend this place to anyone traveling up north
