Rude and Dishonest
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/29/10
I used to be a Choice Frequent member but this hotel has changed my mind. They were Rude. They were Dishonest. We walked out. Customer service was even worse. I received a form letter. You can do better.

Never Again.....
By Lockhart, 7/31/08
To begin with, looks are very deceiving from the outside and the pictures on the website. The room was filthy. My daughters feet were filthy 5 minutes after taking her shoes off. The tv was maybe 13 inches and after it was on a few minutes it began making a high pitched noise. We thought it was the smoke alarm at first but it turned out to be the tv. We weren't able to watch tv and traveling with 3 kids, that was a nightmare. I took a towel off a towel rack only to have it fall out of the wall and onto my foot. The continental breakfast was awful. There was no orange juice and the conditions were less than clean. From now on, I'll spend the extra money and stay somewhere that I can expect a little more for my money.

Chris and Dawn's Third Honeymoon
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/22/08
well first, the price was right. And second, we enjoyed our stay, we had a microwave in the room plus a small fridge. the breakfast they served was not all good but that could be overlooked. I had a ball. So did my husband. I'm going back really soon

Ant & Geo's second second honeymoon & counting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/4/07
I chose this hotel because, when calling all I found on internet, the girl that answered desk phone was absolutely wonderful! She explained ALL there was to do within 40 min. drive time, gave easy directions to falls, suggested 3 "great & resonably priced" places to eat: Ole Country Buffet, China House eat-in or take out & House of Pasta all on same road as hotel, and reassured me that our stay would be pleasant & memorable. We got the jacuzzi suite and at less than $100 a night it was "beautiful"! Room was exception ally clean, roomy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had ABSO LUTELY NO PROBLEMS, IT WASN'T NOISY, IT WAS VERY CLEAN & VERY ROMANTIC!!! Their free continental breakfast was quaint & a charming(get to know the other guests) kind of atmostphere! Take it from me(a person who turns the mattresses over to check how clean they are...and checks every nook & crany kind of hotel stayer) This place and its people was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! WE DEFINATELY WILL RECOMMEND IT TO ALL WE KNOW & LOVE!

Life Saver
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/07
This hotel was a life saver for my husband and I and our friends. We had made reservations at a motel down the road that was disgusting and this hotel and the owner saved us! The service here was excellent and they bent over backwards to help us. The 2nd night we stayed all they had was the presidential suite and he allowed all 4 of us to stay in that room as every other hotel was booked for miles. The rooms we stayed in were clean and in good condintion and the beds were very comfortable - the price was right too. We will definitley stay here again for the kindness of the owner and the staff alone.

Very Nice Econo Lodge
By Jeremiasz, 7/9/07
Econo Lodge is quickly becoming my favorite hotel chain. I have stayed in numerous ones including this one all around the country, and my experience is always consistent. The rooms are clean and comfortable (though in this hotel I may have gotten a newer room), the pool is very nice and heated, the hotel looks attractive, and it isn't too expensive. I like Econo Lodge because they tend to be rather cheap but still provide many amneties places like Motel 6 don't.

very disappointed
location right in the middle of large working and old abandoned factorys the rms were old, phone did`nt work to reach an outside line clock was broke no coffee machines in any rms which choice hotels are supposed to provide. tolet seat was cracked as was handle, very messy decorating we had rms reserved none were ready till after 3pm. yes they had a outside play area for children but I highly doubt I`d allow my child to play so close to the clouds of billowing pollution pouring out of the many smoke stacks that surrounded this " spanish villa" the rates are cheap for good reason.

Would never recommend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/15/06
The exterior walkways/corridors were filthy and buggy. The entire location was dirty. In the room, there was thick dust on the A/C unit, etc. There was a hole in the threshold the size of a tennis ball which let in bugs and who knows what else. TThe continental breakfast was unspeakable in terms of the cleanliness of the counters, food prep. areas, tables, etc. This is one of the least pleasant hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff was unfriendly. The service and facilities did not warrant the price ($116.96 was the discount rate we got on August 1 06 for two adults, two children). The pool is nice.
