Bay View Motor Lodge, Minocqua

The Bay View Lodge was fantastic!! This cute owner operated hotel was just the perfect place to spend some sown time with our family. Our room was very clean and had two queen size beds. ( they were so comfortable). We had cable tv with a microwave and mini fridge. I loved the shower. The best thing about our stay though was Kelly she was always on hand to help with directions, or anything else we needed. We also had an awesome view of Lake Minocqua right off the balcony of our room. We loved that we were able to dock our boat right outside our room. The shoping was great, all within an easy walk with another great view of Lake Minocqua, and right past a cute little park with tennis courts and boat docking as well. If you make the right choice and decide to stay at the Bay View you will not be sorry. If you go in summer check out the Minocquabats.

I go to Minocqua every summer to camp along Clear Lake. 2 years ago I was camping in Minocqua for 3 nights. When the 3rd night came along I noticed there were a lot more spiders than normal. Upon entering the tent I noticed a HUGE black spider(seriously, I was the size of my hand)!! I freaked out and my boyfriend managed to kill it. I told him there is no way I was getting back into that tent. We headed into town and stumbled across the Bay View Lodge. The front desk lady was very nice and promised me there were no spiders. lol. We go to our room and there is a cozy looking king bed with a view of the lake. I then discover how sunburned I was so I took a cool shower in the small but comfy bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and soft. The room was quiet. And best of all...no spiders. I am very happy to have been saved from certain death (haha). I will stay again if need be. I prefer camping, but if our tent is over-run by spiders again, Bay View Lodge is my choice.
