The most relaxing hotel I have ever visited ...

This is my favorite hotel in the whole world! The building is German charming, but is thouroughly modern. Windows on one side view the Mosel river at short distance, while the other side views the wooded mountainside. The rooms are quite comfortable and pleasant. Staff is friendly, professional, and speak several languages including English.
The restaurant is first-rate! It is not inexpensive, but is well worth the cost. Breakfast is included, and is quite varied and delicious.
What tops off this hotel is the 3000 sq. meter spa with steam, finnish, and tepidarium saunas, an ice cold mist shower, foot bath, and water beds in the quiet room for cooldown and relaxation. The indoor pool is excellent. In addition to the free sauna, this hotel also has a modern area where massages, beauty treatments, and whirlpool baths are available at cost.
This hotel is in Euren, a Trier suburb just across the Conrad Adenauer bridge from the main city. The Mosel river area of Germany has produced world class wines since Roman times, with Roman ruins viewable in Trier and on down the valley. I have personally stayed at this hotel half a dozen times, and have never had a bad time.
