Very Nice Hotel and Good Location
By Eric J, 8/13/10
Easy access to Rt.1-9 and I-78 and N.J. Turnpike. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Nice views of Downtown Newark and New York. Anytime I come home to New Jersey to visit, This is where I come to relax and enjoy visiting.

Treated us terribly
By Daniel, 8/21/08
Ok, so we made the mistake of forgetting an item in the room. I realize that when that happens, you are likely fubared. Still, they treated us terribly. We left the hotel early in the morning to catch a flight and we remembered the item about 15 minutes later, but we could no go back as we had to catch our flight. We called immediately. The desk clerk would not to go get the item, saying that we would have to contact housekeeping. We called, no answer, we left a message and asked for a return call, recalled desk clerk who still refused to do anything. Over the next several days this happened over and over again. Anyone who answered passed the buck, never an answer or return call from housekeeping. Finally, we reach housekeeping. The first person to answer does not speak English, and the second says "We searched the room and didn't find anything" before she even had all the information needed to answer the question. Calling desk, manager, who knows from there, they all now treat us like we are idiots and must not have left anything in the room. There is no sign of anyone acting like a human, no apologies, not even a sign of caring. We travel a lot. We will never stay at a Days again.

Ok better than i thought
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/25/07
Before our visit i read reviews on this hotel and they all were bad ones, i wasn't really looking forward to our 4 day trip there. But once we got there it wasn't as bad as i thought. The only downfall was getting in and out of Manhattan every day, there is a free shuttle bus to the airport but sometimes you could be waiting ages, our first day we waited outside the hotel to go to the aiport and we were there for over half an hour. You can either get a train or bus into Manhattan, this costs $25.00 or $30.00 return. Even though they say its across from the airport unless you have you own transport you have to take shuttle bus or taxis. You can't walk! Reception staff not very friendly. Breakfast not good and not worth the money. But the rooms were nice. Ok but don't think i would stop there again.

A nice stay for a even nicer price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/30/05
I liked that the hotel provided 24 hr. free shuttle from the hotel to the airport. It really came in handy because from the airport there is another shuttle that brings you to and from the nearest outlet mall. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Thanks a lot.

Will never return!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/19/05
Arrived midnight after long drive. Hard to get to hotel from interstate-drove around till I finally made the right turn, even though I could see it but could not get to it. Planned to use AAA discount but some manager's special - not cheaper in my view. Next day, while talking to desk clerk, my card was lifted from the front desk by someone asking for information - thieve tried to use it in Mexico 2 days later. Arranged to stay 2 nights - staff screwed up arrangements and had to use another card. Staff needs lessons in professionalism - not used to rudeness like this. Verbal complaint to company resulted in reprimand for my being 'careless'.
